Conservative Republicans

There are too many Republicans running for president.  While it is nice to have a choice, it's hard to select when there are too many choices.  There are still several Republicans in the race who have poll numbers so low that they don't even make the debates.

Some of those that make the debates, I think, are only waiting for Donald Trump and Dr. Ben Carson to fall out of the race.  I think they believe they will self destruct at some point and they will step in.  I think some are establishment Republicans who think the outside candidates are going to fall away at some point, I put Jeb Bush into this category.

Conservatives have not been well served by Republicans in the last few decades.  Republicans think we will have to vote for them because we cannot vote for the liberal Democrat.  What they leave out of the equation is that many conservatives will vote for a third party candidate or will simply stay home and not vote at all.  Neither of those strategies will aid Republicans, nor forward the conservative agenda; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
