Donald Trump is doing well in the polls and in the debates.  I am not sure he would be a good president, but I am glad he is running.  Many people are supporting him.  I think that his popularity is not so much because they like Donald Trump, as it is that the dislike so many others who are running.

In the past few election cycles the Republicans have trotted out tired, old, white guys who act entitled to the position of nominee.  They speak in boring platitudes and act as if we should vote for them only because they are the nominee, not because they stand for what the people want.

Conservatives have been taken for granted in the Republican party ever since Ronald Reagan was president.  Conservatives need to be energized, because it's the conservatives who get out the vote, give money, and work hard for the campaign; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
