Justice

They recently unsealed some court documents and found the Bill Cosby was telling people he had drugs so he could dope women and have sex with them.  Why were the court documents sealed in the first place?

I am opposed to court documents ever being sealed for any reason.  Courts are public services and their activities need to be public.  Everyone deserves due process, even murderers, even Bill Cosby.   I never thought he was "innocent."   The guy used to hang out at the Playboy mansion, what was he doing there, reading the articles?

Still, I am always suspicious of women who show up 20 or 30 years later with a complaint. Nearly impossible to prove or disprove after that much time, that's why there is a statute of limitations on most crimes.  Where where you on June 7, 1991 at 6:30 p.m., who were you with and can you prove it?  Victims need to report crimes right away, justice delayed is justice denied; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
