Best For the Nation

Ronald Reagan used to say there is an 11th Commandment.  Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican.  It's one thing to disagree on policy, it's another to say bad things about someone.  The Republicans need to do a better job of getting along.

The goal is not to win at all costs.  The goal is to insure a Republican is elected president in 2016.  Republicans need to avoid poisoning the well.  Any Republican is better than any Democrat for president.

We have to do what is best for the nation.  The presidential race is not about individual egos.  It is about what is best for the nation.  For example, I did not think that John McCain would be a good president.  I voted for him for president in the general election because he would have been much better than President Obama; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
