Attacks on Freedom

 http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/05/04/police-shooting-at-muhammad-cartoon-contest-in-texas/

In 1981 the government of Libya claimed the Gulf of Sidra was all Libyan waters and that other nations could not freely navigate there.  The US Navy asserted their right of free passage and we ended up actually shooting down two Libyan jets sent to warn us away.  Sometimes a free people have to stand up to dictators.

Events like this Muhammad cartoon contest are a magnet to radical Muslims.   Still in a free society people should be able to organize and run these kinds of events as long as they use their own money and resources to have them.

Christians are often insulted by artists but while we may carry signs or write letters complaining about them, we don't go murder people over them.  In a free and pluralistic society we are allowed to say and write what we want, and non-violent protest is also our right.  Mass murder is not a right; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
