President Obama is trying to get a pro-abortion nominee for Attorney General through the Senate for confirmation.  The Republican party platform has an anti-abortion plank in it.  The majority of Senators are Republican.  It would seem she is doomed.

But wait.  At least five Republicans have come forward and said they are willing to vote for her nomination.  Why is that?  This has been the problem with Republicans for the last 40 years.  They don't follow their own stated principles.  This is way people say there is no difference between the two parties.

Those Republicans who vote for her should face strong challenges in the primary and should not get national Republican money in their re-election.  The Republican leadership needs to discipline their members and get them on board with the platform.  We voted Republican because we are pro-life, having them vote pro-abortion is a betrayal of that vote; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
