I think everyone should be vaccinated for the various communicable diseases that are common to where you live.  Certainly we need to be aware of the concern that the government is forcing us to do something, in inject a chemical.

That is not a decision to be taken lightly.  There are other things to consider, however.  The first is the common good.  Not everyone who gets vaccinated for a give disease will actually become immune, so other people getting the disease can spread it to them if everyone is not vaccinated.  We have an ethical duty not to give diseases to other people.

Vaccines have proven to be a safe way to prevent disease and even eliminate disease.  While sanitation and other factors are important in drive disease rates down, they alone do not seem to be enough to eliminate disease.  I was vaccinated, my child was vaccinated, and I encourage others to vaccinate their children too; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
