Charles T. (Chuck) Buck of Buck Knives passed away recently.  My God have mercy on his soul.  He was a great American and a great businessman.  His company was family owned and has been in business for decades.  I have owned and purchased many Buck Knives.

Years ago the business climate in California was so poor that many companies were leaving the state.  Many moved their manufacturing overseas.  Often to Communist China.  Buck Knives stayed in the United States, and moved to Idaho.

Many companies look only to profits.  While companies have a duty to stockholders and no business can stay in business without profits, it is important to consider other factors.  Keeping important manufacturing processes in the United States, like making knives for the military, police, sportsmen and others is important.  Thanks Mr. Buck for keeping Buck Knives an American company; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
