Inspired Word of God

What does it mean when we say the Bible is the inspired word of God?  It means the books, and letters in the Bible were written by men, but that He inspired them to write the information they wrote down.  The Bible is not just a collection of interesting stories, they are communications from God, with the writings of men as his instruments.

It's like carrying a long heavy table.  You carry one end of the table and I carry the other.  We need each other to accomplish moving the table.  You did not do half of the work, and I did not do the other half.  It was necessary that we both do 100% to get the job done.

Inspired words are much the same.  God does his part, and the writer does his part, but both are required.  The writer will use his expressions, his history, his knowledge to convey the message that God wants written.  It will give the message that God wants to give, because God has inspired the writer; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
