Military Correctness

It used to be that two medics had to be able to carry a wounded soldier on a stretcher.  Then the politically correct crowd decided they needed more women in the military.  Then they discovered that two women could not carry a wounded man on a stretcher.

Rather than decided that it was a bad idea to have women in these units, they decided to change the test.  Now four soldiers are used to carry one wounded soldier on a stretcher.  That way four women can be expected to do the work that two men used to do before they filled units with women.

So we are spending twice as much money, using twice as many people, putting two times the number of people to achieve the same result we had before.  In combat this means placing more people at risk, and in some instances leaving wounded soldiers behind, because they can't be carried out.  Political correctness run wild, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
