The Moon Communion Of Buzz Aldrin That NASA Didn't Want To Broadcast

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin took communion when he landed on the Moon.  NASA did not want to broadcast that event because they feared a backlash and they feared people would complain that a Christian ceremony was made on the Moon.

I think it was a wonderful thing that he did.  At the time over 80% of the people in the United States were Christian.  Why would NASA think that there would be a problem with an Astronaut celebrating a Christian religious service?

Too often people try to force the Christian religion into the margins in fear of offending someone.  Why should we worry about that?  Jesus said, in Matthew 10:22, "You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved."  We need to stop hiding our Christian heritage; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
