Media Coverage

The DOW has been falling recently.  The news media is generally ignoring it as if it is nothing important.  The main stream media does all it can to downplay anything that makes this administration look bad.  The trumpet a lower unemployment rate, but hide the very high labor participation rate.

The media will talk about the number of jobs created, but don't mention that the number of jobs created is fewer than the number of people entering the workplace.  The media gives continuous coverage of events until they are shown to be out of control of the administration.

We saw the rebellion in  Libya 24/7 until it was seen that the USA was "leading from behind" and generally failing to win the peace.  Barack Obama ran on a platform of stopping the nuclear ambitions of both North Korea and Iran, and yet they are going full speed ahead, with no substantial coverage from the media.  The Afghan War receives no coverage, even if the enemy is on the offensive.  The media would rather tell us about some movie star than anything important; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
