Broad Vision

President Obama has given the go ahead for surveillance on Syria over the areas that are controlled by ISIS.  A foolish waste of time and typical micro-management.  Rather than go one step at a time, President Obama should define his goals in a meeting with his national security advisors.  He should determine what American can do and what he wants the outcome to be when done.

Then the President should ask the military to come up with a plan in a few days.  Once the plan is complete, he should review each plan, discuss it and then select one.  Then he should periodically monitor the progress towards the plan.  He should not be micromanaging every step of the way.

Just as the OBL raid was monitored in real time by the President, he should not have done that.  He should have given the plan the green light and then gone to bed, with instructions to wake him immediately if they needed him.  President Roosevelt did not sit on a battleship off shore of Normandy to monitor the progress of D-Day. President Obama should not micromanage the military either; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
