Star Wars

http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/04/27/us-india-missile-test-idUSBREA3Q05D20140427

When I was a kid the only thing we ever heard about India was that people were starving to death there.  It always seemed they were having a famine due to civil unrest, war, drought, plague or some other terrible disaster.

Now India is launching missiles to knock out other missiles.  A Star Wars missile defense system.  India is doing this, not the United States.  For decades the USA has worked on and off trying to build a missile defense system.  Every time the Democrats get a chance, they stop work on the system or the slow it down if they can't stop it.

I think it is one of the reasons that Ronald Reagan won the Cold War against the Soviet Union.  We forced them into an arms race they could not win and we bankrupted them and the Iron Curtain fell.  Now in the post-Cold War era, President Obama is losing the peace.  The Soviet Union broke up, but Russia is picking up the pieces.  India is building Star Wars.  President Obama is vacationing in Hawaii.  I never thought I would live to see the day; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Movie Remakes

I was discussing movie remakes recently.  Particularly about remaking John Wayne movies.  There are several reasons to do a remake of a movie. One is to make a movie about a classic story that has been told for centuries, like Romeo and Juliet. Two is the remake a movie that was originally done poorly due to low budget or other problem with the original. Three is to remake a movie using modern technology to make special effects that will greatly enhance the movie experience compared to the original.

So it was okay to remake The Alamo because there are 50 movies about The Alamo. Some of the early John Wayne "B" movies suffered badly from a low budget. Generally all the other John Wayne movies give no reason to remake them.

True Grit is a good example. It was a classic John Wayne movie the remake provided nothing of improvement over his version. I think essentially all the "A" movie John Wayne movies fall into this category.  I think movie remakes generally are done these days because Hollywood has no original ideas and is unwilling to make movies that the people really want to see.  Too many movies push a Hollywood liberal agenda, rather than reflect good American values; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Death Penalty

Gen. 9:6  "Who so sheddeth mans blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man."  20,000 people a year are murdered in the United States.  There are almost 800 people on death row in California alone and their usual cause of death is old age.

Nothing humans do is perfect, and so if a few innocent people die as the result of the death penalty, that is to be expected.  Firetrucks run over and kill people once in a while, but we still have firetrucks.  I don't wan to spend my life guarding a group of murderers who have no reason not to murder a guard.

I understand we don't want to kill the innocent, but we can't paralyze our system because of a theory that a few innocent people might be killed.  Right now tens of thousands are being murdered and their victims cry out for justice; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Mentally Ill

In 2012 about 1,400 murders were committed in the United States by people with severe mental illness.  That's a large percentage of the murders committed in the USA.  That's a lot of mentally ill people have a terrible effect on others. We should work harder to cure them, treat them, and if necessary, confine them.

Over 200,000 homeless American have severe mental illness.  We need to change our laws to permit the authorities to confine mentally ill people, even against their will.  Freedom is not freedom unless you have your mental faculties.  Many mentally ill people don't realize they are sick and they often don't take their medications on their own.  Most states changed their laws decades ago to cut down on involuntary confinement in the name of freedom.

We need to develop medications that are time released over a long period, so they don't have to take them everyday.  We need to develop mental hospitals that confine people, inexpensively.  They could live in a barracks style environment and the patients could do most of the work, under supervision, to keep the costs down.  We need low cost options to care for people who can't care for themselves.  It's not compassion to allow someone to sleep in a trash bin; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Libya

 http://allenbwest.com/2014/04/al-qaidas-libyan-comeback-raises-questions-benghazi-cover/

Allen West keeps trying to warn us about problems in Libya.  If Libya was really a problem the main stream media would be all over it. US troops pulled out of Iraq and that war is now long over, or the MSM would be telling us the war was a failure.

President Obama is leading us to victory in Afghanistan, that's why we don't hear anything in the MSM about that war either. And certainly Communist China and North Korea are peace loving nations and nothing to be concerned about.

Not unlike Russia and their relations with Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. None of these places will be a problem for the Main Stream Media; until we get a Republican in the White House; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Baseball

http://www.aol.com/article/2014/04/23/yanks-pitcher-michael-pineda-ejected/20874487/?icid=maing-grid7|main5|dl8|sec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D468552

Yankee pitcher Michael Pineda was ejected from a game and penalized for 10 games for using pine tar on his hands.  In recent years several pitchers have been given 8 to 10 game suspensions for using things on the ball.

Clearly these suspensions have been ineffective.  Pineda says he made a mistake.  No, he did not make a mistake.  A mistake is dropping the ball.  A conscious decision to break the rules for personal advantage is cheating; not a mistake.

They should increase the penalty by one game every time cheating is discovered until either cheating stops or the players are banned for life.  The National Passtime used to be the only sport I cared about, until the players union when on strike.  Since then its all about the money and taking advantage, rather than fair plan and setting a good example for the kids.  Major league baseball should pay for their own stadiums too; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Ukraine

http://www.aol.com/article/2014/04/24/ukraine-forces-kill-up-to-five-rebels-russia-nears-border/20875287/?icid=maing-grid7|main5|dl10|sec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D468547

Ukraine is sending in troops to reclaim their territory.  Under natural law, the United Nations Charter and common sense a nation may use force to defend their territory and to win back conquered lands.  The United States should be backing up Ukraine with anything they need to conduct the war.

Political pressure should be placed on every nation in Europe to support Ukraine.  Economic pressure should be used to help Ukraine too.  They should be given credit and even cash.  Collective security has kept Europe free from a general war since 1945.  We should continue that policy.

Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia should consider an alliance against Russia.  Until they can become members of NATO they can help each other with intelligence, training and equipment and political support.  Our main stream media needs to be showing America how a free people can stand up to Russia and stop their aggression; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

No News

In checking the news today I found no references to the Russian invasion and conquest of the Ukrainian province of Crimea.  How interesting that the main stream media has determined that there is no reason to tell us about the Russians violating an agreement and attacking a neighboring nation.

There was also no news about Afghanistan.  The United States is at war and has thousands of troops in Afghanistan.  Not a single story about our troops there.  How many days during Viet Nam or Korea or World War Two did the major news outlets not cover those wars as front page stories?  I am sure the answer was none.

The United States is failing both internationally and nationally and the main stream media has declined to keep us informed.  Unemployment is at historic highs, millions have simply stopped looking for work.  Millions of illegal aliens are swarming our nation.  The governments only solution to any of our problems seems to be to increase taxes, and cut our liberties.  The main stream media is not helping us to solve these problems; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Ukraine

http://www.militarytimes.com/article/20140416/NEWS08/304160046/NATO-ramp-up-response-Russian-aggression

NATO is moving to the East in response to the Russian occupation of Ukraine's Crimean province.   They are sending aircraft and troops to Poland, Lithuania and Romania. Yet troops that can be quickly deployed can just as quickly be withdrawn.  Russia won't care in the least.  Russia is not going to attack Poland, Lithuania or Romania.  If we wanted to defend someone we could have sent them to Moldova or Georgia.

If President Obama wanted to send a message to Russia he could change his mind and work with Poland to set up Strategic Defense Initiative radars.  He changed his mind about that a few years ago when Russia complained about them.

If NATO really wanted to send a message to Russia they could have sent those same troops and planes to Ukraine.  That would tell Russia they don't want any more expansion into the West by the Russians.  If they really cared about the Russians, they could accept Ukraine into NATO; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Gas Prices

http://www.gasbuddy.com/gb_retail_price_chart.aspx

When President Bush was in office we heard all the time about the high price of gasoline.  We were told that gasoline was expensive because President Bush and his family were oil men and they were paying back their family and friends for their support.

When President Obama was sworn in the first time, the price of gasoline in California was about $1.90 per gallon.  Now the price averages over $4.00 per gallon.  On my way home today from the gas station, I saw a Chevron station with gasoline, self-service, unleaded at $4.39 per gallon.

High fuel costs make everything cost more.  Trucks deliver most of our goods to market and fuel is a major component of trucking costs.  Mail rates have gone up, citing higher fuel costs as one reason.  The poor are less able to drive to work, school or the doctor because gasoline takes up a higher percentage of their income.  Where is the outrage against President Obama?  Who is he paying off with higher fuel costs?  Why is the MSM silent about this problem, which was a crisis when Bush was President?  It may have been Bush's fault, but once he was sworn in, it became Obama's responsibility; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

http://www.onenewsnow.com/ap/united-states/why-are-americans-obsessed-with-missing-plane#.U1Xb6Ve0S9U

The media is obsessed with the story of the missing commercial airliner Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.  They fill the airwaves with stories about the plane.  The media wants us to watch it all the time.  If we are watching this story, then we can ignore the other, more important stories.

The price of gasoline in the United States has been rising for nearly the whole time of President Obama's administration.  The Russians invaded Crimea, despite American guarantees that Ukraine's territory would be inviolate.  The Chinese are pushing around the Japanese, Philippines, over a few islands in the South China Sea.  Unemployment continues at an all time high.

Many people are watching the story of Flight 370 because trust in the government is so low that they don't believe any of the narratives put forth so far.  The most likely case is the plane malfunctioned, or was blown up and crashed, or was hijacked and crashed.  Still people believe the plane landed some place.  They think the plane will be used again for some nefarious purpose.  Our government has lost credibility both at home and internationally; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Marriage Equality

Some people who are tired of the fight over "marriage equality" have proposed that the government get out of the marriage business altogether.  This is a mistake, and starts from a false premises.  We already have marriage equality in the United States.  Homosexuals have the same right to marry as heterosexuals.

No one has the right to marry a person of the same sex.  No one has the right to marry a child, or a close relative, or to marry more than one person at a time.  These are same "rights" that the homosexual agenda has been pressing for, they really want to simply abolish marriage altogether.

Society has a duty to protect it's citizens.  One way we do that is to encourage citizens to get married, stay married and have children.  It's the only way to perpetuate the nation.  We do this by tax policy, by health insurance policy and other government policies that favor people getting married, staying married, and having and taking care of their children.  This is the norm in all civilizations.  Failure to have the government recognize marriage as a unique institution will further erode the rights of husband and wife and of parents; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Tomahawk Missiles

http://www.realcleardefense.com/articles/2014/03/30/dont_bury_the_tomahawk_107160.html

Don't count your chickens before they are hatched. That's an old American saying that President Obama is not familiar with.  He cancelled the Space Shuttle program.  All our space ships are now in museums.  We have no way to get American astronauts into space anymore.

President Obama said we could retire the shuttle because American private industry was on the verge of developing reusable space vehicles that would be cheaper and more reliable than the government run shuttle system.  In the brief interval between retirement of the shuttles, we could contract with the Russians for a ride on one of their space rockets.  What could possibly go wrong?

Now years later we don't have a private launch vehicle.  Our own expendable launch vehicles use Russian rocket motors and we don't have the shuttles.  The Russians do have the Crimea that they conquered from Ukraine.  The same Ukraine that we promised their territory would remain inviolate if they dropped their nuclear weapons.  Now President Obama wants to cancel the Tomahawk cruise missile.  The same cruise missile that has done most of our long range and dangerous strikes into enemy territory.  We don't have a replacement for it.  Maybe we can buy one from the Russians, what could go wrong?  Looks like history is about to repeat itself, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Cliven Incident

http://www.aol.com/article/2014/04/14/nevada-rancher-says-us-may-have-damaged-his-cows/20869069/#!slide=2531619

A rancher was having his cattle rounded up by the Federal government.  The dispute blew up into a rally against what many perceive as an oppressive and restrictive and corrupt Federal government.  Hundreds of people, many with guns, turned up to aid the rancher in his dispute with the government.  One story said the rancher owed fees to the government for running cattle on Federal land.  One story said the government was worried about damage to tortoises, but others said the Federal government itself was killing tortoises.  Still others claimed that Senator Harry Reid and the Chinese Communists were trying to steal the land to open a solar farm.

Many in state and local government sided with the rancher.  Few Federal officials spoke out against the rancher or his followers.  The main stream media generally ignored the incident, or gave only the government side of the incident.  The Federal government backed down and returned the cattle.  It seems odd that the government would back down to a crowd of armed people.  It seems odd to get conflicting stories about what happened and why it was happening.

Since President Bush was elected and now President Obama, first the left and now the right have seemed to have lost all faith in our Federal government.  We need to rid Washington of most of the incumbents during this next election cycle and trim the power and cost of the Federal government.  We need to return more authority and money back to state and local governments were people can get the type of government they want because local officials are more willing to listen to their concerns.  We need to get government out of our lives.  I am glad no one was hurt and I hope this incident can be resolved without injury or oppression, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Classic Movies?

http://www.buzzfeed.com/adambvary/classic-movies-quiz

My wife and I have over 2,000 movies in our VHS / DVD collection, she was a dancer and choreographer and her daughter is an actress.  Even so many of these movies we never even heard of before.  I think a large part of this list is simply an opportunity to show us movies that further the homosexual lifestyle or have an anti-establishment or anti-American bent.

Not a single movie made during World War Two was worthy?  Battleship Potemkin, a pro-communist movie, is on the list but not Triumph of the Will, a pro-Nazi movie considered the most effective propaganda movie ever made?  Only one John Wayne movie, yet he was the highest single grossing male lead in the movies for about 20 years in a row and did over 150 movies?  Yet three Charlie Chaplain movies?  Is it because Charlie Chaplain was a socialist?  I have seen over 120 of these movies and even own about 60 of them on VHS or DVD, yet there at least a dozen I never even heard of, most of which were homosexual movies.

Brokeback Mountain is on the list, yet not The Longest Day, 2001 A Space Odyssey, or even Godzilla.  I recognize The Seven Samurai as an important and famous movie, but how many people have seen it compared to Godzilla and the movies it spawned?  I think at least 50 of these movies could easily be cut out of the list.  Birth of a Nation and Stagecoach should have been on the list too.  With even a few minutes thought I could have come up with a much better list; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Not Born Gay

http://www.charismanews.com/opinion/43439-even-lbgt-historians-admit-no-one-is-born-gay

Even homosexual researchers finally recognize that there is no such thing as being born homosexual.  Homosexual behavior is a sin, the Bible teaches that clearly in both the Old and New Testament.  Too many in the church have seemed to have forgotten that teaching.

We are all sinners in the eyes of God and we all need His mercy and His grace.  Our society has declared homosexual behavior as a normal behavior without any divine revelation to confirm that declaration, and without any scientific proof either.

Years ago one homosexual researcher claimed he found a tiny part of the brain that was different in homosexuals than in straight people.  The main stream media jumped on that report and has repeated that claim ever since.  The claim was never proved and was never verified by any other researcher.  The claim was either an error or a lie, but certainly is not a basis for upending a whole society; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Gay Movies

 http://www.buzzfeed.com/adambvary/classic-movies-quiz

I checked out this Classic Movie Quiz.

Video Recording

People should be able to video record police, but they should be a safe distance from the incident and they should be in a place where it is lawful for them to be located.  Too often people stand in the middle of the street and block traffic or endanger themselves to get a good picture.

People also get too close to the incident and become a part of the action.  I think people should be at least 25 or 30 feet away when recording incidents so as not to become a part of the event.  It is difficult for police to both watch and deal with a suspect and try and watch people filming them at the same time.  I also think that people have responsibility to turn over video to the police as evidence so it can be used by the prosecution or defense in court.

I think there should be laws passed to require people stay back and to allow police to seize video recorders and video recordings as evidence, provided they are returned in a timely manner; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Video

http://www.policeone.com/Officer-Safety/articles/7066749-Video-Ill-officer-brawls-with-suspect-at-gas-station/

In the past few years with every cell phone now having a video recording ability there have been many videos of police activity posted on line for the world to see.  Frequently they record only a portion of the incident or there is no narrative to explain accurately what is happening or who is doing what to whom.

Without context these videos are of little value in demonstrating what is really happening in these incidents.  Some of these videos have created some problems for citizens and for police.  I believe that in a free society that people should be permitted to video record the actions of police but like all rights there needs to be some balance.

The person being recorded may need the video as evidence in their trial.  The police may want the video as evidence for the prosecution.  I think they video should be able to be seized but should be returned in a timely manner.  No more than a few weeks, and there should be penalties for failing to return both the device and the video; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Rocket Science

http://defensetech.org/2014/04/02/lawmakers-question-air-forces-use-of-russian-rocket-engines/

It's not rocket science has become a phrase used to indicate something is not difficult, because rocket science is hard.  We have been told that Americans will outsource jobs doing menial tasks and we will keep jobs doing important work, high value added work, and high technology industries with high pay.

Then we find out that American rockets use not American made engines but Russian made engines.  It's bad enough that President Obama killed our manned space program without any replacement in sight, but he has allowed the US government to buy rocket engines from Russia, rather than use rocket engines made in the United States!

If we can't get our own government to use American made high technology rocket engines in our rockets, then how can we expect private industry to try and buy American?  I don't mind if the US Air Force buys plastic spoons from Communist China or shoe inserts from Russia, but I want our military and government agencies to use American high technology items; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Coptic Persecution

http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/patrick-goodenough/egyptian-islamists-murder-young-christian-after-dragging-her-car

President Obama's foreign policy of leading from behind has taken another victim.  A young Coptic Christian woman was pulled from her car and beaten to death in Egypt.  She was killed by radical Muslims because she had a cross dangling from the rear view mirror on her car.  Apparently that is enough of an insult to Islam to merit death.

Mubarak was not a nice man, but he was the leader of Egypt and an American ally.  Sometimes nations have to make allies with nations that are not good because it serves a larger purpose.  Mubarak was in favor of peace with Egypt and he helped the US against Saddam Hussein.   He also kept radical Muslims in Egypt in check.

Now after the revolution, radical Islam continues to persecute Christians in Egypt.  Egypt was a Christian nation at one time, until Muslims conquered it and drove out or forcefully converted the vast majority of Christians over time.  The few remaining Coptic Christian try to live in peace and often in isolation from their neighbors.  Most Egyptian Muslims have tolerated them, but since the revolution they have been murdered, their churches burned and their lives destroyed.  Yet, President Obama and his allies in the main stream media have generally ignored or played down the problem; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Mobility

 http://www.allgood.co.uk/

There is a new device that allows stairs to fold up and be replaced by a lift that can carry a wheelchair up to the next level.  It only works for short distances, it would not replace a full stairway, but eight or ten steps.

I pushed my wife around in a wheelchair for years.  We don't need better buildings, we need better wheelchairs.  Rather than have every building with stairs spend hundreds of thousands of dollars, even millions on upgrades, even if only one or two handicapped people visit per year, we need to upgrade the wheelchair.

With new drone technology being developed that allows robots to walk, we can adapt that to replace the wheelchair.  So people who can't walk on their own can walk with the assistance of a walking device.  Then they can go up and down any stairs they want, without having to modify every building on the planet.  I think that's a better idea, to make individuals more mobile; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

North Korea

http://liveactionnews.org/less-than-human-north-koreas-rampant-forced-abortions-sterilizations-infanticide-and-persecution-of-the-disabled/

In the United States we do everything we can reasonably do to mainstream people with disabilities.  TV and movies have closed captions for the hearing impaired.  Buildings are being retrofitted to fit wheelchairs and ramps and handicapped public transit are ubiquitous.

They don't do these things in North Korea.  As a result of a United Nations investigation North Korea's horrific treatment of the disabled has been partially revealed.  In North Korea if you are born with a disability you are likely to be murdered.  If you are a mixed race person, that is part Korean and part Chinese, you and your mother will probably be killed.

What has the United Nations done about these barbarous atrocities?  "Michael Kirby, chair of the U.N. investigative counsel, has sent a letter to Kim Jong-un"    Nothing else will be done.  There will be no massive news media coverage.  No boycott of North Korea.  No calls to stop these practices, nothing.  President Obama does not really care about the disadvantaged.  He will continue to offer North Korea aid in exchange for a halt in nuclear development.  He will ignore the evil of the Kim Jong-un regime; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Girl Scout Cookies

http://godfatherpolitics.com/14207/catholic-group-calls-boycott-girl-scout-cookies-pro-abortion-teachings/

The Girl Scouts is about girls getting together and having fun and learning in a safe environment.  They learn traditional American values like how to have safe sex, how to avoid telling your sex partners you have HIV and how to have an abortion, and selling cookies.

The Girl Scouts, like the Boy Scouts has been co-opted by the radical liberal leftist agenda.  They want big business, that is, Planned Parenthood, to reap millions of dollars in abortion money.  They know that if they disguise their advertising as teaching they hope to slip in under the radar of parents and grandparents and create a new generation of liberal, pro-abortion feminists.

Many groups are advocating a boycott of Girl Scout Cookies.  I did not buy any this year and I won't buy any until this radical feminist agenda is stopped.  The national Girl Scouts gets licensing money from the local sale of cookies, so if you stop buying their cookies, they lose money.  There are other groups for girls, like the Heritage Scouts that do a better job of serving our young women; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Christian Persecution

http://www.frontpagemag.com/2013/michellemalkin/cruciphobia-at-mt-soledad-the-cross-the-left-cant-bear/

Atheists hate the sign of the cross.  They hate religious freedom.  They hate Jesus and everything Christian.  In the 1950's a group put up a cross as a memorial to those Americans who died in our wars.  You don't see atheists putting up war memorials.

The atheists sued to have the cross removed because it was on public land.  Never mind that the vast majority of people wanted that cross to remain.  Never mind that, these self indulgent atheists had to have their way.  They continued to sue.

Voters passed a bill to sell the land and allow the cross to remain, still the atheists hated the cross and continued to sue.  These atheists have nothing better to do than make other peoples lives miserable.  They can't stand the fact that some people have chosen to honor our veterans with a symbol of hope and love.  Atheists have done this all over America because they don't just "not believe in god" they hate those who do believe; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Defense

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/03/20/the-pentagon-isn-t-ready-for-a-new-cold-war.html

Under the leadership, or perhaps, stewardship, of President Obama the United States has allowed our military forces to decline to the point where we can no longer be assured that we could win a war against Russia.

We have cut or manpower dramatically.  We have replaced real men with openly homosexual men and women and women who will be used in combat roles.  We have trimmed and trimmed our navy and army to the point were projecting power is no longer as possible as it once was.

The United States continues to cut defense under the Obama Administration.  The defense of this nation is the primary job of the Federal Government.  It is not health insurance or social engineering for homosexuals.  President Obama has failed to keep this nation safe, has failed to maintain our treaty obligations for defense, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Guns

http://onenewsnow.com/church/2014/04/01/georgia-bill-allows-gun-owners-to-protect-fellow-church-members#.U0Inp1e0S9U

Georgia is working on a bill to allow people to carry guns in more places.  I believe in the right to keep and bear arms.  The right to defend yourself does not end at your front door.  People should be able to wear a gun where ever they go in public.

I also believe in private property rights.  If someone does not want a visitor to carry a gun in their establishment, then the person should not carry a gun.  If the state is required to force someone to allow a gun into a business, then that is not freedom.  A company, business or church should be permitted to say who goes armed on their premesis.

If you don't want other people to be armed in your business, or other property, then you have a duty to protect them.  Any business that prohibits firearms should be required to provide a truly gun free zone with protection equal to that of an airport security area, with armed guards ready to intervene in the event of an emergency.  Just posting a sign that says "Gun Free Zone" is not protection; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

http://www.citizen.org/documents/Korea-FTA-outcomes.pdf

I like South Korea.  I drive a Hyundai automobile.  The North American headquarters for Hyundai is in my hometown.  South Korea is a stanch ally against North Korea and other Communists.  Their soldiers fought side by side with Americans in Viet Nam.

The Obama Administration negotiated a Free Trade Agreement with South Korea.  President Obama promised more American jobs, more American exports, and more prosperity for the United States.  The record has been a dismal failure.

Korean car imports to the United States increased by 124,000.  Yet American car exports to Korea only increased by 3,400 cars.  The Obama Administration has had one foreign policy failure after another, yet there is almost no publicity from the main stream media.  They give the impression that everything is fine and any problems are all Bush's fault; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Boy Scouts

http://www.gopusa.com/news/2014/04/01/scoutmaster-banned-for-being-openly-gay/?subscriber=1

The United Methodist Church considers homosexual behavior to be a sin.  They don't recognize homosexual marriage.  The Boy Scouts of America don't permit homosexual men to act as Scoutmasters.  Yet they permitted an openly homosexual man to start and run a Boy Scout Troop.

It is unethical for the United Methodist Church to violate it's own principles to run a Boy Scout Troop.  That is a poor example to set for the boys.  The Scoutmaster was also being unethical when he started the Boy Scout pack.  Again, another poor example for the boys.

The Scoutmaster said "...that the troop was not a publicity stunt but an attempt to reengage the discussion around LGBT inclusion in the BSA"  So in other words, it was a publicity stunt.  There are already organizations similar to scouting that permit homosexual boys and homosexual men to join.  There is no reason to continue to harass the Boy Scouts over this issue; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
