Chinese Military Budget

http://www.defencetalk.com/china-defense-budget-to-grow-10-7-in-2013-report-47066/

The Communist Chinese military is getting a huge increase in their budget of 10.7%.  At the same time the United States is cutting military spending.  Some people claim that the US budget is huge and so these changes don't matter, well they are wrong.  The average pay for a Chinese officer is only about $800 per month.  In the American military privates make over twice that amount in pay an allowances.

The American government is generally ignoring the threats posed by the Communist Chinese.  They support North Korea and as a result, the US has to spend billions trying to defend our interests in the area.  The US trade deficit with China is powering the Communist military build-up.

If the United States were to cut our trade with China, stop China from hacking our computer secrets, stop their espionage against us and start acting like we cared about the threat they pose to our economic and national security then we could continue to be a great nation.  The present administration does not seem interested in any of that; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
