When Jesus walked the Earth he spoke to us and his disciples eventually wrote down what he told them. Eventually, someone used a new technology to print His words. Eventually the Word was preached, first on radio, then on television. Then the printing press with moveable type was utilized to print those immortal words. Now the Word of God is on the Internet and on computers. It just seems like a good idea to move forward spreading the Gospel with new technologies as they become available.
As we have moved into the electronic age, the church as done a poor job of reaching the world with the message of Jesus. There should be a constant barrage of radio, television and movies sponsored by Christians that reach out not only to their flocks, but to the world as well. These messages could be commercially sponsored, and make money and become self supporting, just like secular radio, TV and movies. Religious movies have always done well at the box office from the silent Ben Hur toThe Passion of the Christ.
