Packers' Walden arrested on suspicion of battery - NFL - Sporting News

A professional football player has been arrested for battery against his live in girlfriend. The league is not sure what they will do about it. I have an idea; immediate suspension, without pay until his case is adjudicated. If convicted give him a lifetime ban him from professional football in any capacity.

I have an even better idea. How about suspend him for as long as he is living in sin with his live-in girlfriend? Professional sports players used to have morality clauses in their contracts that prohibited them from doing anything immoral or embarrassing to the sport. Living with a girlfriend without benefit of clergy is immoral and should merit a suspension until 30 games after it stops. That might reduce the opportunities that players have to beat their girlfriends.

Where are the liberals on this? There is no excuse for domestic violence, so why do the main stream media tolerate it with sports stars? Did anyone believe that OJ was looking for the real killers? Certainly not, but the media continued to give him positive play until he finally went to prison. Don’t have sex with any man unless he marries you first. Following that advice would keep a lot of women out of a lot of trouble; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
