Don’t Kill the Innocent

No one is more innocent than a person who has not yet been born. God tells us “thou shalt do no murder.” Intentionally killing an innocent person is murder. Therefore, abortion is murder. We need to stop killing our children. In America fewer than 25% of the households are traditional nuclear families now. We have the lowest percentage of children in our population than ever before, because we are killing them in the womb.

Our society has devalued children and we are reaping the results of that. We are destroying the family. Women have sex without being married. Then women get pregnant. Once they are pregnant they either have an abortion or they become a single mom. As a result we have millions of children murdered in the womb, and millions of women raising children alone, and raising them in poverty.

We need to stop abortion. We need to quit nibbling around the borders of the abortion issue. We need to declare an obvious truth that life begins at conception and all human life is protected with the full force of law. We need to pass the right to life amendment to save the innocent lives that are in danger every day. Life is the most basic right, that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

America is not Mexico

At a recent soccer game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California between USA and Mexico the crowd was not only in favor of the Mexico but actually was anti-USA. This is a very disturbing development in American immigration. So many tens of thousands of people would go to a stadium to watch a sporting event and actually root against the home team, the American team and root instead for the team of a foreign nation.

Certainly, I can understand an emotional feeling for the nation where you grew up. I can understand why you might like a sports team from the home country. What I find difficult to comprehend is that so many would boo and root against the USA team. If you love America enough to come here, then be an American. If your homeland is so bad that you can’t make a living there and are forced to come here, then don’t try and make this nation like the one you left.

The United States needs to enforce its basic right as a nation and enforce its borders. The US has permitted millions, maybe tens of millions of people to come here illegally. People who come here and fail to dissolve into the melting pot of Americans are not good for our country. The US needs to deport millions of people who have come here illegally and who don’t accept America as their country; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Chinese Aircraft Carrier

At a time when the United States is cutting back on defense spending and spending large amounts of money on low intensity conflict, the Communist Chinese are about to launch their first aircraft carrier. The Communist Chinese purchased a used aircraft carrier from Russia and finished building the unfinished carrier on their own. This is a conventional aircraft carrier and is only the first of many that the Communist Chinese are planning to construct.

Their next carrier will be one designed and built by the Chinese. The United States is planning on cutting aircraft carriers. Aircraft carriers are essential for nations that want to project power. The Communist Chinese have never taken their eyes off of Taiwan. For the Communist Chinese to deploy an aircraft carrier group makes the defense of Taiwan much more difficult.

It will take a decade for the Communist Chinese to get air groups that are fully capable of taking offensive action. It is an opportunity for the United States. We need to cut our budget deficit with the PRC. They are using America dollars to pay for their massive military build up. We buy their junk products, put American out of jobs, and fund Chinese military weapons systems that will threaten us and our allies. They also continue to oppress the Christians in their nation. We need to respond to this buildup with a 10% tariff on all goods imported from Communist China and all nations that persecute main stream religions; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Stop Abortion

Some polls indicate that as many as 70% of Americans want public funding for abortion to stop. Even if you believe that abortion should be legal it should not automatically follow that the taxpayers should have to pay for abortions. Even the staunchest supporters of the 2nd Amendment do not believe the Federal Government should be buying guns for everyone at taxpayer expense. Why should abortion be any different?

Many states are de-funding abortions as part of state provided health care. In most cases this means Planned Parenthood is loosing hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars. This is typical of liberal groups, they get taxpayer dollars to fund their organization and then claim they provide an essential service. If their service was so essential then private funding could be found to provide it.

The whole abortion issue is an excellent example of one of the worst aspects of American life. Activist judges overstep their duties as judges and act like a legislature. Then they act like the executive and force their will on people who never voted for this major change. If the people wanted abortion on demand we would have lobbied our legislatures for it, but that never happened. Now almost forty years later we are still struggling with a problem created by judges that judges continue to extend. We need to pass the right to life amendment to the constitution and put and end to this judicial activation; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Christian & Jewish No Fly Zone

U.S. Jews Not Able To Fly On Delta Flights To Saudi Arabia

Under a new agreement Delta Airlines is partnering with Saudi Arabian Airlines. The Saudi Arabian Airlines may restrict people from travelling on their airline if they do not meet the religious standards of Saudi Arabia. Passengers are not allowed to wear non-Muslim religious clothing such as a clerical collar or a yarmulke.

If the plane is taking off from the United States, shouldn’t American law be controlling? I would think that to have landing rights in the USA that carriers would have to be subject to the same laws against discrimination that apply to other companies in the United States. How long do you think it would last if an airline said they would not permit Blacks to board their planes? Why is religious discrimination against Christians and Jews permitted?

This is typical of the Western world when confronted by Islamic people. They are permitted to dictate what we will wear and what innocent religious items we can carry in our luggage, even if it violates our freedom of religion. If Saudi airlines don’t want to grant religious freedom to their passengers then maybe they should fly someplace else besides the US, that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Wildfires have brought down over a thousand homes this season. On 9/11 fire was one of the largest dangers faced by those in the Twin Towers. We need to look for better methods of building construction to avoid or minimize fire damage. Prevention of fire is better than fighting fire or paying insurance claims from fire.

The next thing we need to do is to develop newer methods of fighting fire. In Roman times firemen responded to the scene of the fire and applied water to extinguish the flames. The same thing we do now. There needs to be a better method to use to stop fire from burning buildings than applying water. Larger hoses, faster pumps, air dropping water are all good ideas but there needs to be a new paradigm in firefighting.

Fire stops when fuel is removed, heat is cooled and oxygen is taken away. Perhaps there can be a way to cool the fire with some other method besides spraying water. Maybe a large directed explosion could blow the fire out, like blowing out a candle. Perhaps new fire resistant paints could be used in homes and businesses to retard fire, along with fire resistant floor coverings and wall hanging. Every year 3,500 Americans die in house fires with another 20,000 injured, and that’s too many; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Saturday, September 24, 2011

When a home or business is burned down, it is important to rebuild using materials and techniques that will create a new building that is fire resistant. Texas has lost over a thousand buildings in recent weeks to wildfires. This is a terrible disaster but one that can be prevented in the future. Proper zoning, brush clearance and construction techniques make buildings much safer.

A clear zone around the buildings is the first line of defense against fire. In wet weather brush can grow up around homes and then when the weather turns dry the vegetation can become very dangerous. Proper landscaping can prevent this problem. Clearing brush is cheaper than replacing a burned house. Planting succulent plants can keep dry brush away from homes.

A good roof is another defense against fire. A roof with an overhang can be a great danger; boxing in the overhang with fire resistant materials can prevent fire from spreading to a building. A roof made out of tile or asphalt is unlikely to burn is much safer than untreated wooden shingles. Fire prevention is much better than fire fighting or fire insurance; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

President Obama like most liberals does not get it. He wants to provide companies a $5,000 tax credit for hiring a new employee who is a veteran and $10,000 if the new hire is a disabled veteran. This is typical of a president who has no idea how businesses work. I can expect companies to fire employees in order to take advantage of this program. Fire ten employees; replace them with disabled veterans and save $100,000 in taxes.

Companies are not sitting around without enough workers to do the job; just waiting for an incentive to hire someone. An employee is paid over $15,000 per year even at minimum wage and that does not count the other costs such as taxes and insurance. Companies won’t hire just to provide people jobs, they will hire because they need workers. The President also does not say where the money will come to provide a tax credit to companies who hire veterans.

While I honor our veterans’ service, hiring veterans over non-veterans because of a tax break is not only unfair to non-veterans; it will do nothing to solve the unemployment problem. It will simply shift unemployment to people who are not veterans. Few new jobs will be created. If this is a great idea to bring more employees into the workplace, then why not give the same tax credit to all businesses who hire someone? For that matter, why not give all businesses a tax credit for all their existing employees. The fact is that taxes are too high and they stifle business investment. But President Obama won’t give all businesses a tax break for all employees, it reduces his political opportunism. This is just another gimmick to make the President try to look good; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Religious Freedom Act of 2012

Every nation that does not permit freedom of religion shall have all their imports to the United States shall have a 10% tax levied upon them in addition to any other taxes and without regard to any other trade agreement.

This would apply to Communist China, Saudi Arabia and all other Communist nations and most Islamic nations would have to pay this tax. It would send a strong message to these nations that if they want to sell products to the United States but don’t provide the basic human rights of freedom of religion that they will pay a price for that oppression. The Congress should certify each nation annually that they provide their people with freedom from religious oppression.

I have no problem with a nation that wants to base their laws on a religious belief system. I am okay if they want to have an official religion, even if that religion is not my religion. What I want is for nations to allow their citizens to believe whatever they want to believe and that they be able to worship their God in the manner they choose to worship. In China, Christians are only permitted to attend government sponsored churches. That’s not freedom. In many Islamic nations you cannot spread the word of Christ, convert to Christianity or you will face at least prison and usually death. The United States should stand for freedom; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Heterosexual Pride Evil, Homosexual Pride Good

Heterosexual Pride Day Called For By Sao Paulo Council

As usual, the main stream media calls normal evil and evil good. The city council of Sao Paulo, Brazil has called for a Heterosexual Pride Day celebration. The homosexual community has immediately condemned the action because they claim it will lead to violence against homosexuals.

This is typical of the liberal mentality. Freedom of speech and freedom of assembly is just fine, as long as it is politically correct speech. If you speak about a conservative topic, if you urge a traditional lifestyle, then your speech must be suppressed. In America thousands gather to support the Tea Party and there is no violence, no arrests made. Also in America, liberals gather to protest the WTO or other conservative or establishment groups and every time there is organized violence and large numbers of arrests, and property destruction.

The article about Heterosexual Pride also quotes homosexual activists who claim that a couple hundred homosexuals were murdered in the last year and the number is about double from the previous year. This non sequitur is simply tossed in without verification or explanation to give the impression that homosexuals are at great risk from heterosexuals. They don’t explain the murder rate of homosexuals vs heterosexuals. Did murders double for everyone, or just homosexuals? How do they know the victims were homosexual; who compiles that data? How many of the murdered homosexuals were killed by other homosexuals? How many heterosexuals are murdered by homosexuals and is that number increasing also? Again, this is typical of the pro-homosexual main stream media to toss out one statistic that does not directly relate to the topic but makes their opponents look bad. Heterosexual pride day, that’s everyday here at the Hysterical Right Wing.

President Obama says that the US cannot and will not impose regime change. What a foolish statement. The American government cannot impose regime change in Syria only because President Obama is incapable of providing national or international leadership. He fails to grasp the power of either the Presidency or of the American military and clandestine services. The US Marine Corps could invade Syria and topple that regime in only a few days. A leader would be able to put together a coalition to isolate Syria and bring them down by freezing their assets, their exports and imports as well as targeted kidnapping and assassination of the enemy.

This is one of the dangers of electing a president who is neither a military veteran nor who has extensive international experience, or at least being a student of history. As we approach the next election cycle we need to consider the background of the people we elect to national office. The Federal government has enormous power and the president needs to be aware of that power, know how to use that power and be willing to us that power to enhance the security of the United States, our friends and allies.

Great nations rise and fall but the United States does not have to fall today. We can restore our greatness if we simply do a few minor changes to our course. President Obama needs to be voted out of office at the next election. The United States needs to de-regulate most industries to bring us more in line with the rest of the world. We need to develop cheap, reliable nuclear power plants, right now. We need lawsuit reform; lawsuits are often one of the largest expenses in many businesses. We need to take control of our borders. We need to achieve victory in the War Against Radical Islam, not simply bring the troops home or end the war responsibly. Fix our problems, its not difficult; thats the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Jobs Plan

President Obama has never run a business and so he does not know how business works. He has limited executive experience so he does not do a good job of running an organization as large as the Federal government. He seems to think that if he rolls up his sleeves and makes a speech that he will show us he is working hard and that everything will be okay. He is the president, roll down your sleeves, button your cuffs, put your tie and jacket back on, get serious and give us some serious leadership for our serious problems.

He wants to create jobs; it is not the business of the Federal government to create jobs. It is the business of the Federal government to secure our rights and liberties and to create an environment where the common good can develop. Don’t build infrastructure because we need to create jobs, build infrastructure because we need new infrastructure. Don’t give us tax breaks to create jobs, give us tax breaks because we are overtaxed. Don’t give us a one year tax break, make the tax reductions permanent. Stop spending money the government does not have; spending money we don’t have only puts us farther in debt, gives the Communist Chinese (who buy our debt) more control over us, and increases taxes.

The President needs to propose to the Congress that he will cut regulation. When we build highways they put aside money for bike trails and museums and art. If we don’t have money for highways that we desperately need, why are we spending even more money on the projects for nice to have but not essential items like bike trails and museums? We need to cut regulations, not continue with the same old red tape, micromanagement, set asides, and preferences to make our businesses more competitive with other nations. Cut regulations and allow American businesses, American workers grow our economy; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Get a Job

It is not a secret how to become rich in America. There are a few things to do and anyone who does these things will live a decent, productive middle class life, and maybe even become rich. The first thing to do is to go to school, stay in school until you graduate from high school, then go to college for as long as you can. Study business, nursing, or other subjects that can lead to a job. Get the best grades you can in both high school and college. When you leave school, particularly if you don’t go to college, serve one enlistment in the US military. Obey the law. Don’t participate in criminal activity and don’t use illegal drugs or alcohol to excess.

If you like the military stay in and have a career in the service. It is honorable and the pay and benefits are good along with an excellent retirement. If you leave the military then get a job, any job, no matter what the pay is, take it. Get a job in an industry you like. After you get your job, come in early, stay late, do all the boss tells you to do. Once you learn the business, then obtain financing from the Small Business Administration, or bank and run a business of that type. A fast food franchise, dry cleaners, pool cleaning, any small business that you can run with a minimum number of employees is a good route to getting rich.

The next two factors are no secret either. Don’t have sex with anyone unless the two of you are lawfully married. Don’t marry anyone unless you fully intend to stay with that person for the rest of your life. Have your spouse fully on board with your intention to work hard, long hours and become rich. These few principles work for anyone, no matter their race, religion, creed or background. They require discipline and the ability to give up pleasure in the near term and short run for a long term goal. As an American, if you want you can make it; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

In Australia a disturbed man took several rifles and murdered almost three dozen people and wounds many others. The criminal is captured and in order to make a determination if he is fit to stand trial or if he is mentally incompetent he is analyzed by a psychologist. The report explains how the criminal had to attend special schools as a child. He was medicated at times and was under professional psychological care for most of his life.

Despite the efforts of these mental health care professionals the criminal continued to bully other children and torture and abuse animals. The mental health care professionals never recognized warning signs of violence and never warned anyone that this man would become a terrible criminal. The man was declared mentally disabled and was drawing a pension. Despite these mental issues and despite not having a firearms license, he still purchased firearms and went on a murderous rampage.

Gun control did not save those victims, it was ineffective because people with money can always get gun. Mental health professionals did not save the victims either, despite years of treatment. The report can find no motive for his attacks other than he was intellectually limited and had little empathy for others and could hold a grudge for a long time. No where do they mention his lack of church attendance. They never mention his failure to accept a faith in Jesus Christ. At no time do the mental health professions indicate the positive role that can be played by accepting a loving savior who loves us for who we are and provides an example of love and caring. They only suggest that he should continue to be monitored. Mental health professionals can provide important assistance, but the Word of the Lord really changes lives. Psychology provides science, religion provides morality; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Communist Air Force

The Chinese Communists are upgrading their air force. They are probably using American dollars and Russian technology to do it. The new Chinese Communist stealth fighter seems to be using technology from the new stealth fighter the Russians were considering for production, but decided not to build. The Russians have denied any official involvement.

The Russians may be telling the truth. It could be that the Chinese developed the technology without Russian help. It could be that the Chinese stole the technology. Using American dollars that the Communist Chinese get from the massive trade deficit they have with the USA they could have bribed a Russian or made an illegal purchase of the technology. The Communist Chinese are often blamed for developing massive abilities to conduct cyber warfare. They may have hacked into Russian systems and stolen the information from the Russians.

The US has long relied on a technological advantage to overwhelm our enemies. We have enjoyed this technological advantage because our industry has been strong, and our counter-intelligence agencies have been good at keeping our information secure. By having a technological advantage we can conduct war and keep our casualties down and still win the battles. As our potential enemies narrow that gap we are more vulnerable. The Chinese Communists are modernizing their air force; President Obama wants America to cut defense spending and the purchase of new aircraft. That’s not a good trend; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Child Molestation is Normal

Years ago American Psychiatric Association determined that it was no longer going to consider homosexual activity to be part of a mental disorder. Recently, they voted to favor homosexual marriage. Now they are working towards considering pedophilia as a normal activity. Once an activity is no longer considered abnormal, then activists will work to make it legal and then acceptable in society; as they have tried to do for homosexual activity. It’s no longer a perversion, it’s just a lifestyle.

I would be interested to know the orientation of those who are in these positions and how that affects their vote on these issues. I would also like other demographic information on the members of that association. I suspect they don’t represent anything like a cross section of American society. I would also not be surprised if many of them are simply trying to legitimize their own behavior.

Why is it that fewer than 200 people have been given the power by our society to determine what is normal and abnormal? Why do we listen to these few who are in most cases anonymous and answer to no one? We need to keep to our morals and know that just because a group of psychiatric “experts” claim something is normal, does not mean it is proper, acceptable, moral or legal; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Reds Get Green Light

The US defense budget compared to both the gross domestic product and as a percentage of the total Federal budget is the lowest it has been in decades. The growth of domestic spending has been astronomical and some has come from cutting defense and some from borrowing money. Often that money comes from Communist China buying American government bonds.

China gets the money in the first place by selling products to the United States. China has a massive trade deficit with the United States. Rather than improve the lot of their people by spending that money buying American cars, American grain, American rice, American beef, they are spending the money on weapons. While the United States is cutting conventional military forces, ending major programs, stopping weapons development, the Communist Chinese are engaged in an arms building up that rivals Japan in the 1930’s.

China is building aircraft carriers. They are about to deploy their first one. They are talking about building two or three more aircraft carriers. The Communist Chinese have no need for aircraft carriers unless they intend to project their power beyond the coast of China. The Chinese have no maritime threats that require aircraft carriers, modern fighters and massive cyber war ability unless they intend to challenge the United States power in the Pacific region. We are paying for our potential enemy to build the weapons they could use to attack us. The US needs to seriously alter our trade policy towards Communist China; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

DOM Ignored by Federal Government

The Department of Homeland Security is ignoring the Defense of Marriage Act. The law requires that the government consider marriage between one man and one woman. The DHS is considering homosexuals who are coupled to a person of the same sex as “family.” This is in direct contravention to the Defense of Marriage Act.

This is what happens when conservatives listen to moderates and try to find a compromise on controversial issues. Conservatives were told there was no need to pass a constitutional amendment to prevent flag burning; we could just pass a law against it. Conservatives were told there was no reason to change the constitution to prevent abortion; they could just stop Federal funding to prevent abortion. Conservatives were told there was no need to change the Constitution to prevent homosexual marriage, they could just pass the Defense of Marriage Act and that would prevent homosexual marriage from happening.

This is what happens every time conservatives compromise on our basic principles. The moderates convince the conservatives to vote with them on a law to ban a behavior or to protect a right. Once the law is passed some liberal activist judge will strike the law down or liberal bureaucrats will simply ignore the law without penalty. Then everyone will claim there is nothing we can do because the courts have spoken or because the precedent has been set. Conservatives need to be as forceful in pressing for our values and beliefs as the liberals have been; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

A Harsh World Demands a Firm Response

Iran and North Korea have been building nuclear weapons unabated. Hugo Chavez in Venezuela is arming his nation and threatening his neighbors. Libyan dictator Kaddafi continues to defy the Western world. The radical Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq are still fighting and the “moderate” Muslims are wasting our money and placing rules of engagement that endanger our troops as well as denying their people religious freedom.

We need a president who will govern as President Teddy Roosevelt did. He said he wanted to “exercise of intelligent forethought and of decisive action sufficiently far in advance of any likely crisis” The US has failed to do that for far too long. The nuclear crisis in North Korea and Iran is not new. We have known of this danger for at least a decade and done little to prevent it. We have been fighting radical Muslims since the birth of the Republic and we have not only failed to defeat them but in recent years we have allowed thousands of them to become American citizens and have only taken half measures against them when we have gone to war.

Our next president needs to have the strength and willingness to both negotiate and to use military force in decisive ways if needed to accomplish the best result for the United States. We need to be willing to have the courage of our convictions and be willing to impose our will on others if we are going to maintain our position in the world; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Friends and Allies

The United States has a few friends and many Allies. We need to work on our system of alliances. Rather than wander the Middle East and apologize for every perceived fault of our nation we need to start acting like the great power we are today. The United States has the most powerful military and the most powerful economy in the world. We need to use that power to achieve good, first in our nation and then in the world. Then we need to stop groveling and whining about it. On this anniversay of the 9/11 attacks we need to redouble our efforts to defend the nation, militarily and economically as well as socially.

As a nation we can be humble and still great things. We need to revitalize our national manned space program. We need to rebuild our military infrastructure. We need to get people off of government assistance and let then earn a living. We need to stop debates about health care and pensions and fix those problems in a cost effective manner.

We know that the free enterprise system with limited government oversight to protect consumers is the greatest system in the world for providing wealth to individuals and the nation. We need to unleash that potential and show our competitors we will no longer be taken for a ride. Communist China is building a great economy and military on the basis of American money. We need to stop the flow of money to China, even if it means using tariffs in the short term to do it. We need to grow the economy, get out of debt and resume our leadership position in the world; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

No Growth

Richard Fisher: Federal Reserve's Low Interest Rate Pledge Misses The Point

The Federal Reserve has said they will keep interest rates low for the next two years. United States companies have almost two trillion dollars in liquid assets sitting around and not being invested in new plant, new production or new jobs. Businesses are concerned about the world’s economy and the American government threatening to raise taxes on the wealthy and on corporations.

With new, higher American taxes, corporations my want to invest overseas rather than here in the US. With constant ever increasing regulation, even micromanagement of business, companies don’t want to invest their money in new facilities only to have to change them all soon after because of new regulations. The Americans with Disabilities Act has required companies to spend billions of dollars on new elevators that no one rides, ramps no one uses, to replace perfectly good door knobs with door handles, Braille directions for the blind, all to accommodate disabled people who in many cases don’t ever visit those facilities. The Braille instructions on the drive up window to the ATM machine being one of the most stupid examples.

The Federal and State governments must look at ways to deregulate businesses. Not everything that is a good idea or a nice thing to do should be the law. A business that wants to hire a new employee should not have the government looking over their shoulder because they might not want to hire a transvestite for a day care center or as a motorcycle sales associate. We are losing our competitive edge compared to other nations. We need to look to other nations and American states with high growth rates and emulate them. Even if it means we need to repeal laws that might be a good idea, but really don’t need to have the force of law, and lawsuits behind them. Once we do that, maybe businesses will be more willing to invest in our economy; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Failed Governor

Governor Brown of California has enacted a bill to tax Internet sales. Some say these laws are unconstitutional because they regulate interstate commerce which only permitted by the Federal government. I believe it is just another way to try and tax private industry rather than try to cut government expenses. Few people in private industry have pensions anymore. Most of us are dependant only on Social Security and what little we are able to save. California government give large pensions to government workers and in some cases workers make more when retired than most Californians make when working.

This is one of the many reasons why the jobless rate in California is stuck at almost 12%, several percent worse than the national average. The Federal government is also overtaxing us and is reluctant to cut taxes and even constantly looks for ways to increase taxes. Cutting “loopholes” “ending subsidies,” “ending special programs” are all just more ways of increasing the taxes that people and companies have to pay.

Between ever increasing taxes, out of control government spending and excessive regulation it is a wonder that any of us are working at all. California has refused to make any real cuts to government spending. Rather than lay off government workers, they place them on furlough a couple days per month. If the work can be done with fewer workdays, then lay people off. If you don’t want to lay people off, then cut their pay and benefits. At the very least, eliminate positions when people quit, get fired, die or retire. All public employees need to be placed on Social Security and given a 401k, just like the rest of us workers. We need to cut expenses, not increase taxes; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

The United States needs to gain control of it’s borders. There are perhaps tens of millions of illegal aliens in the United States, most from Latin America. There are millions of legal aliens and America citizens from Latin America who are failing to become part of the melting pot that has historically been America.

Only a generation ago, when most Latin Americans moved to the US within a generation they were very Americanized. Within two generations they were indistinguishable from any other Americans. This has changed in the last thirty years. There are tens of millions of illegal immigrants who are not interested in becoming good Americans. They want to be good Mexicans or good Cubans or good Panamanians.

We need to both control our borders and determine who is lawfully in the United States and expel those who are here illegally. We are allowing too many people into this nation and even worse at a time when we are short of jobs for Americans, short of water, short of electricity and other basic necessities. America needs to take care of it’s own people and only when our house is in order can we again afford to allow others to come into our nation; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Global Warming Solved

Some scientists have said that the world has cooled by almost a degree in the last year. It looks like the global warming crisis has been averted. That’s why we hear many people are now speaking of “climate change” rather than global warning. Climate change does happen. All the time, no matter what humans do, the world will change.

Volcanoes spew tons of carbon dioxide into the air and eliminate all the work that people have done to stop putting carbon into the air. Humans are not destroying the Earth. I believe that we need to recycle materials. We need to drive vehicles that don’t spew toxins into the air that we breathe. We need to have factories that don’t pollute the water and we need to manage our forests and fisheries.

We don’t need to panic. We don’t need to make everyone feel guilty because they have a plastic grocery bag. We don’t need to make laws that will have no real effect on the real world. We are better off trying to achieve energy independence and high miles per gallon automobiles than we are trying to make the vehicles perfectly “green.” An efficient engine will have little exhaust. We need to invest in more nuclear power; it is safe, clean, renewable and abundant. Developments in nuclear power make the new reactors immune to the problems of Chernobyl and Japan. America needs cheap and clean power and it won’t destroy the planet; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Stop Federal Abortion Funding

The Federal government should not be in the health care business. The Federal government should provide vouchers to pay for a specified health care benefits and then the citizen should then use that voucher to buy private health care insurance. All the veterans’ hospitals, special Congressional health benefits and all the other health care that the Federal government could be eliminated.

I would provide every Federal employee, every veteran, every Federal elected official a voucher good for a certain amount of money to purchase health insurance from private companies. Every voucher would be exactly the same. Congress would not get better benefits than anyone else. Federal employees would all get the same health care. Other than emergency health care in the military or paramedic services the Federal government should stop providing direct healthcare to anyone.

Private insurance can be paid for out of the money we now spend on all these other programs. The Federal government can stop providing health money to the states. By direct funding of health insurance vouchers the Federal government would reduce the number of people who would be a burden to the states. Veterans would be able to choose their health care providers rather than being forced to go to the VA. We would have a much better idea about how much we spend on health care and we would have the benefits of private industry competing for the health care dollars; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Come Together, Right Now

Nations are countries because they share common values, goals, and a way of life that they all agree upon is valuable and worth preserving. In America we are permitting the influx of people who do not share our values. Radical Muslims are immigrating into the United States who don’t come here because they believe in personal liberty, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, women’s rights and democratic principles, and share a common language. Millions of Hispanics are here illegally who don’t want to assimilate and become American citizens, they want to remain Mexican or maintain dual citizenship.

The US should not permit dual citizenship. Anyone who wants to be an American should be an American first and not have any allegiance to any foreign power. The United States is an exceptional nation. We have been a nation of immigrants. Immigrants came to America and then became not Germans, or Chinese, or Polish, but Americans.

The new immigrants too often are coming here only to achieve economic success. They don’t care for the American ideals. The Islamic immigrants come here and try to bring Sharia Law with them. They bring honor killings of their relatives. They want the US to change holidays to conform to their beliefs. They want us to oppress our citizens and deny them their rights to freedom of speech in the name of their religion and their foreign culture. New immigrants are not participating in the melting pot and that’s a danger to America; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Looking Good, Not Being Good

Why the 'Human Barbie' is now injecting her own 16-year-old daughter with Botox Mail Online

A woman who has spent nearly a million dollars on cosmetic procedures is now having procedures done on her daughter, starting when she was only 15 years old. The child has not had over a hundred procedures in only a year. Normal children should not be subjected to medical procedures unless there is a valid medical need for those procedures. Simply wanting to look better than normal is not enough reason to subject children to medical procedures.

Every medical procedure exposes the patient to risk. There is the risk of infection and the risk of a failure of the procedure to resolve the perceived problem. The government would intervene if the parents were sticking the child with needles or cutting them simply to punish them. They should also intervene if the parents are doing the same without a medical necessity for the procedure. Breast enhancement, cheek implants and similar procedures should only be done on consenting adults.

The medical community is remiss in not censuring, even revoking the licenses of those who perform cosmetic procedures on children who are normal in appearance. It is a form of mal-practice to do surgery that is unnecessary. First, do no harm. Every surgery does some level of harm. This mother has consented to these procedures and is even performing some of these procedures herself. This child would be better served by her mother spending time and money on her academic achievement, her moral development and her ability to cope with the challenges of life, rather than inject her face with Botox; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Diversity Is Not For Everyone

Inclusive means we include everyone but you if you have a conservative, traditional view of marriage. Just because you think marriage is between one man and one woman, as it has been for centuries in the Western World, and the legal standard everywhere, does not mean you are welcome in some companies. I think that private companies should be allowed to hire and fire anyone, for any reason. The law, however, requires companies to hire and fire based upon political correctness.

In fact, technical competency is not necessary to get and retain a job. Even employees who do great work can be removed if they don’t fit the political correctness agenda. A man wrote a book about his opposition to homosexual marriage and was fired because another employee complained about that book. The person who complained did not read the book. The person who fired the author did not read the book. They simply fired the author because he wrote a book critical to homosexual marriage.

This is all part of the homosexual war against traditional marriage and the traditional family. The main stream media and Hollywood are all on board with this politically correct crowd and are doing all they can to press the homosexual agenda. They are also advancing the polygamist and pedophile agenda too. We are seeing more television shows with homosexual characters. We are seeing more news stories about polygamy and praise for pedophiles. Traditional marriage works, homosexual marriage, polygamy and pedophilia are bad for society and bad for the soul of the people involved; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Congressional Corruption

Every member of the House and Senate that runs for president is allowed to keep their job and continue to receive full pay and benefits. They are permitted to show up to vote or debate as they see fit. Rather than visit the people they represent they spend time on the campaign trail. If they don’t win the presidential election they return to their job in the Congress with no loss in pay or benefits, no matter how much time they have missed.

No elected official should be permitted to run for any office, other than reelection to the office they currently hold, at any time, for any reason. If a Congressman wants to be president, then before the presidential election campaign season they need to not run for office as a Congressman. Then they can run for election to president full time. If they really think they have a chance to win the Presidential election then it should not be a risk to give up their seat in the Congress.

The people deserve full time representation in Congress and full time work from all political officials. If any elected official wants to run for another office they need to wait until their term of office is up before they run for another office. Officials should not be permitted to resign to run for another office, that’s a betrayal of those who elected them and not fair to others interested in the position who would have been elected. We need to take back our political system, that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
