The presidential election is the Republicans to lose. They need to get their act together and select a candidate that they can all rally behind. Republicans also need to remember the 11th commandment, thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican. It is difficult to run negative advertising against your opponent in the primary and then endorse him if you lose that race. In the primary election they should all select the strategy to run against President Obama, not each other.
That will provide them with several advantages. It will politically weaken the President by pointing up his many flaws before the full campaign gets started. It will help to keep the Republicans united rather than fighting among themselves. It will also show which techniques resonate best with the voters.
The Republicans also need to select a candidate that is an excellent public speaker who can communicate their message. They need a candidate that has an excellent track record of achievement and has been consistent with a message that conforms to the Republican platform. The candidate must energize the Republican base, so that they will work for him to get out the vote and donate money to his campaign. The candidate must be a true Republican and not just a fiscal conservative, but a social conservative also; that’s the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
