Iran vs Superpower Iran is working on developing nuclear weapons. Iran has been arming insurgents who are fighting Americans in Iraq. Now Iran is actually seizing Iraqi territory. Is this because they are building nuclear weapons and feel that other nations won't attack them now that they have a nuclear umbrella? Or is it because the Obama Administration has shown such international weakness that they no longer fear attack by the United States in particular? Iran fought an inconclusive war against Iraq for ten years under Saddam. There is no reason to thing that Iran would not be willing to go to war against Iraq again they felt they could gain an advantage, such as more oil. The US must be willing to push Iran out of this Iraqi territory. An immediate response is necessary. Any delay is a sign of weakness and indecision. Weakness and indecision give more power to the enemy. Time to react, and more important, gives them time to make other inflammatory moves. They can also wage a propaganda war against us claiming that since we did not immediately counter-attack that we knew they had a right to be there. The US is a superpower and needs to act like one; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

North Korea A missionary has probably gone to North Korea to try and get them to release people from concentration camps and to give them assistance. The North Koreans imprison, torture and isolate their people. Being in prison in North Korea is like being inside a prison in a prison. The Obama Administration has not confirmed the capture of the missionary. The Obama Administration will have to grovel and send another special envoy to get him back. The North Koreans are not afraid of the power of the US because the Obama Administration is too scared to use that power. The reputation of the United States is again about to be driven into the dirt by a Third World nation. For a nation to be a major power it must have respect from the other nations of the world. The deterrent factor of nuclear weapons and major weapons systems is useless if no one thinks you will ever use them; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

No Mao Rather than celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace, the White House celebrates Chairman of the Communist Party Mao. The greatest mass murderer of all time does not belong on an ornament in the White House. While I agree that he should have hung on a tree, it is too late now for justice to be served to his victims for his many atrocities. Our main stream media ignores him or even celebrates him. Mao was a vicious dictator and oppressed a billion people. Even today his legacy lives on in religious persecution, forced abortion, one party rule, and limited freedoms of today's Red China. Chairman Mao has no place in the White House, even as a Christmas tree decoration. The White House under President Obama has made many foolish mistakes since they have been in office, this is another on; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Warmer? Or Not There is good evidence that much of the information supporting global warming is false, misleading, or improperly reported. This combines to give the impression that global warming is at best not as bad as claimed or at worst, not happening at all. I have not seen much information about global warming that shows we need to do much of anything to stop it. The story of the Earth is the story of change. The Earth goes through hot and cold cycles and the continents themselves actually move into warmer or colder areas. If the ozone layer is being destroyed, perhaps we could look at doing things that produce more ozone. It can't be anymore expensive than destroying our entire economy and giving up our freedoms; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

I have seen several articles recently about people wondering about seceding from the Union, forming militias, and the possibility of civil war here in the United States. What's that all about. We conservatives lose one election and suddenly we have to form our own country? Many good people have worked very hard to give us our liberties, and the checks and balances in our system. Let's try and figure this out first before we start stocking up on ammunition. Rather than spend $3,000 on an assault rifle, maybe we should each give $3,000 to politicians and political action committees who are working toward the goals we all share. Join the National Rifle Association. Give money to the Republican party, and to those who are bringing lawsuits against the Obama Administration. There is plenty to do now. Inform your friends and relatives of what the Obama Administration is doing to reduce our liberties. Write letters to your Representatives in Congress and your Senators. These are all better, and more effective than preaching revolution; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Worst Year

Domestic Terror Incidents Hit a Peak in 2009 - TIME 2008 was the worst year for the War on Islamic Terrorism here in the United States. The main stream media has generally ignored the fact that we are less safe from Islamic terror than in anytime when the Republicans were in charge. Our President and Congress are interested in health care and spending trillions of dollars that we don't have on stimulating the economy. They are not really interested in prosecuting the War on Islamist Terrorists. Rather, they fall into the trap of closing Guantanamo prison, giving civil rights to foreign terrorists who are not entitled to the rights of US citizens, and trying to get out of Iraqi. The enemies of Christendom are at the gates. What we do every day moves us closer to enslavement or freedom. Our enemies will never stop until they are crushed or they win. We need to focus on the destruction of our enemies, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

War on Islamic Terror

Rep. Peter King: Why Was Known Terror Suspect Allowed to Fly? -- Politics Daily The War on Terror has become a snoozer for most people. The government is becoming complacent. Even our President is not acting with a sense of urgency. He appoints his own general to run the war in Afghanistan, and then takes months to make a determination to send in 75% of the reinforcements his own general asked to have sent. Now a known terrorist suspect has been allowed to fly on an airliner and he tried to bring down the plane. The enemy only has to continue to wage the war. They know that as long as they keep up the attacks, as long as they apply a little pressure here and a little pressure there that eventually the Free World will just get tired and give up. It worked in Afghanistan against the Soviet Union. They just kept the war going, knowing that they did not have to win in the conventional sense. They just had to out wait the enemy. Now the enemy is just trying to out wait us. We have had troops in South Korea for sixty years. The War on Islamic Terrorists has been going on only since 9/11 and now after only ten years we are tired of it. This is just what the enemy wants, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Mexico Gets Worse

Mexico City Lawmakers Approve Gay Marriage - Sphere News The decline of Western Civilization continues as gay marriage has been approved in Mexico. Once a bastion of the Catholic faith, they are now embracing the secular humanist religion. The deviant and illegal has now become legal. The protections enjoyed by traditional marriage are now being extended to what was once reviled as ungodly and unnatural. The civilized world has never recognized marriage between two people of the same sex. Now there are more places that have determined that this is a proper role for the state. To go against both God, nature and thousands of years of tradition and the wishes of the majority of their populations to make same sex marriage legal. In the USA 37 states have put same sex marriage to a popular vote and it has failed in every case. Only in those few places were radical liberal activist judges or legislatures who buckled under pressure from vocal minorities has same sex marriage become legal. A sad day for Mexico, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Fight A video that shows kids beheading a man, while they praise their radical Islamic god. Children brutally killing a man by cutting off his head. When I was a kid my dad too me to the park and we played ball, and Frisbee. Sometimes we went fishing, and sometimes we went to the zoo. We never cut any ones head off. Not once. Radical Islam is a terrible and dangerous ideology. They want to restore the caliphate, and then cause it to rule over the world. They are willing to do that by force if necessary to make it happen. They will have to use force because the secular humanist, Hindus, and Christians don't want it to happen. The Hindus and the Christians are fighting. The secular humanists are doing their best to hamstring us with lawsuits, concerns of fairness, and equality. I don't want to be equal to serial murderers. I don't want to fight fair against those who want to kill me or my wife or my child, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Army Life

Pregnant US Soldiers in Iraq Could Face Court Marshal - Sphere News Soldiers should be become pregnant when they are in combat zones. In my opinion, soldiers should not get pregnant at all. Soldiers should be physically fit and ready for combat at all times. The stress on our much too small military has caused us to place women in far too many places. There have been many recent stories of women, particularly single mothers, who can't deploy because they have no child care for their children. The military is a unique job. On that job rests the freedoms of our nation. It is not a place for social experimentation. It is not a place for political correctness. It is a place only for the best person to do the job. In the military, service members have to make sacrifices, everyday, in war and in peace. Long hours, physical training, risk of life are common place in the military. Those are not circumstances for pregnant women; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

3D Blu-ray players coming; time to update yours? I wanted a video cassette player the moment I first saw one in the early 1970's. Within a few years I got my first VHS video player / recorder. Soon, I figured out that I could pay $20 a month for cable TV movie channel or I could buy one movie a month. Over a period of a few years, I knew I would have a nice video collection. Eventually, I had over five hundred videos. Then they came out with laser discs. I got a couple hundred of them. Then, they were obsolete and you could not get them or the players any longer. I resisted getting DVD, planning on skipping the format, knowing that something else would come along eventually. Then, a friend of mine who worked for Radio Shack, got me a cheapo DVD player. The dam burst, and now I have hundreds of DVDs. I am now trying to avoid Blu-Ray. And for good reason it seems, now there is a D version. So, another opportunity to replace all my videos, again; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Legislate Morality Sometimes people tell me that you cannot legislate morality. That phrase is false on it's face. We regulate morality all the time. In California, it is illegal to marry a person you are related to, you can't marry your mother, your father, your son, or daughter. You cannot marry someone under the age of 18 without their parents consent. Both parties must be of the opposite sex to get married. We have all these restrictions because we legislate morality. There is no practical reason to prevent a brother and sister from getting married. In the past, there was a concern about them passing on genetic disease, but the pair could get sterilized and stop that problem. We stop those two from getting married because we as a society have determined that it would be immoral for them to be together as husband and wife. These restrictions have been very constant among civilized peoples all over the world for as long as there have been civilizations. While small groups or for short periods of time there have been exceptions, these restrictions have always been part of the main stream. They should continue to be so, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Firearms Freedoms Acts Many states have ratified firearms freedom acts and others are considering them. The Federal Government regulates firearms under the theory that since the gun makers are engaged in interstate commerce, the Federal Government has jurisdiction. Firearms freedom acts seek to nullify this authority based on the Tenth Amendment to the Bill of Rights of the Constitution. The idea is that if a gun is made in a certain state, is only sold in that state and is marked made in that state, then it is not subject to Federal firearms regulations, since the company is not engaged in interstate commerce. This seems a perfectly proper way for states to get the types of firearms their citizens want, without having to force their views on other states. If California is happy to be heavily regulated by the Federal Government, but Texas wants little Federal interference in the types of guns that Texans are permitted to own, than this seems a great way to achieve that goal. I like it, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Guns and Soldiers A gunman killed a dozen people in Fort Hood, Texas. None of the soldiers had weapons. On an Army Base. People that are trained and screened to defend our nation, and they are not allowed weapons, even when on duty. The Second Amendment to the Constitution says the ...Right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Yet, our soldiers can't have guns. They can't carry firearms on the base. They are defenders of our rights, and they don't have the same rights we enjoy. All members of our military should be given permission to carry weapons at all times. A hundred years ago, that was not uncommon. Fifty years ago, troops always had weapons in their barracks. As recently as 30 years ago in my high school ROTC classes we had access to military rifles almost anytime. No mass shootings of students or soldiers then; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Freedom of Religion

President George Washington, father of our country, proclaimed in 1789: "Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor - and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint committee requested me to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness." Separation of church and state? I don't see that in this document. One would think that George Washington in his official duties would be able to conform to the law and would understand the intent of the framers of our Constitution. There is also mention of both Houses of Congress requesting George Washington to ask for a day of prayer, again these are politicians who were there when the nation was founded. They don't seem to be too concerned about the separation of church and state. Today too many of those in political power seem to be trying to protect the people from religion, as in freedom from religion, rather than freedom of religion. A totally unnecessary precaution, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

ROE Americans are fighting an enemy that is at war with Western Civilization. The United States of America is not really fighting as if this were a serious war. Too much of what we are doing is for political correctness and not for winning the war. The US and it's allies should not have reconstituted the government of Iraq and Afghanistan this soon. We should have kept those nations under our occupation as we did Japan and Germany after World War Two. We destroyed desire to go to war in those nations and rebuilt them as modern democracies. That is what we should have been doing to Iraq and Afghanistan. Now we have the rebuilt Afghanistan dictating to the US on how to run the war. They have been complaining about how the war is being run and as a result we have come up with new rules of engagement that endanger our troops. The Afghan Army wants to follow a restrictive rule of engagement then they should be permitted to do so, but they should not tie the hands of the foreign troops fighting there; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Pirates A US flagged ship was attacked by pirates, but the were fought off by private security guards armed with firearms and sonic weapons. This is what should be happening to every one of these pirate attacks. The use of private firearms to protect shipping has a very long history. For centuries private ships carried cannon, rifles and other small arms to protect themselves in dangerous waters. This does not require governments to keep thousands of sailors and dozens of ships in the area patrolling to protect ships. The ships can protect themselves if they are permitted to arm themselves. The navies should take action to seize the mother ships and the strike against the harbors where these attacks happen. The navies should be capturing and executing the pirates that they find. The navies should be responding when a ship calls for help, but in the meantime the ship should not be helpless, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

New World Order Islamist Extremists blew up a train station in Russia. This was not long after a bomb attack on the train killed or injured over a hundred people. The Russian and American governments need to realize that we face a common enemy and work together to solve this problem. International Islamist Extremists have replaced International Communists as the greatest threat to international peace. They are attacking Russia almost daily. With their huge Muslim populations in Russia it is easy for those planning acts of terror to move to places in Russia where they can attack a subway, a train, a school. The Russians have been fighting this battle for a long time and it could be helpful if more American police and military officials conducted operations with them to learn the techniques they employ. It would also be helpful if we could coordinate intelligence with them on radical Islam. In the post-Cold War World, the Russians are not really the enemy; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Green Backs

Bret Stephens: Climategate: Follow the Money - Those who "fight" global warning try to pretend that they are simply doing this to fight the evil corporations intent on destroying the planet. They are humanitarians and not in it for the money. Unless you follow the money trail. Billions of dollars a year are being spent on green and climate research and equipment. Companies are being bullied to giving money to support green efforts to be shown as responsible members of the community. Global warming experts publish books, movies and pocket thousands even millions of dollars. Experts in global warming research have found to have suppressed dissent, and manipulated data in order to advance their agenda. Apparently the most important green is the cash, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Welcome Home

mental_floss Blog » The Late Movies: Dogs Welcoming Home Soldiers This video shows how we all should respond to our soldiers coming home from the war. The War Against Islamic Extremists will continue for at least another fifty years and it is important to let our soldiers know that we appreciate what they are doing for us. Even those who take no active combat role face dangers every day from attack. The soldiers at Fort Hood were not even in a combat zone and were killed or wounded by a Muslim Extremist. Everything our soldiers do can get them killed. Car bombs and suicide bombs and active shooters take their toll, even in safe areas. Even soldiers that don't see any combat at all are away from their homes and their families. They work for low pay, they work nights, weekends and holidays in the cold and wet. Our soldiers deserve a great welcome when they come home; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Execution,0,597884.story In California the death penalty is such a joke that the inmates actually ask for it to get better living conditions. We execute so few criminals that inmates sentenced to death are more likely to die of old age, disease or murder by other inmates than they are to actually be executed. Then we wonder how come our crime rate is so high! The US justice system needs to spend more money. More money on crime scene investigation, more money on detectives and training of detectives, to solve more cases. The intent is to solve more cases. Capture more crooks and get good convictions. Then we need to start executing more criminals. In my opinion, anyone convicted of murder with special circumstances should have his appeals over within a year and be executed. Criminals should not wait for decades for the death chamber. Judges should not be able to delay appeals while they study cases for decades when they know there is no legitimate reason to delay. Five hundred murders a year demands a like number of executions, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Muslim Expremists Muslim extremist terrorists blow up a train in Russia. Western media naturally ignores the obvious and simply calls them "Chechen rebels." This is one of the reasons that the populace don't understand the nature of this war. International Muslim extremists work together towards a common goal. They want to take over the world. The goal of radical Islam has always been to take over the world for Islam. They have always spread Islam by the sword. That's why so many of those churches mentioned in the Bible are no longer located in Christian parts of the world. They are not in Muslim parts of the world, that got that way by the sword. One of the goals of our intervention in places like Iraq should be to secure the basic liberties that Western nations enjoy. Freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of religion should be part of our war goals. German and Japan are friendly prosperous nations now after they were transformed into Western style democracies. That should be our goals now too; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Pray For Change The phrase "separation of church and state" does not appear in the constitution. Yet our courts, our Congress and many others keep telling us that this or that practice is illegal due to this separation of church and state. How can something that is not the law, be the basis for declaring an act illegal? Prayer in the public schools was legal from the start of the republic until the Supreme Court said it was illegal in 1962. How can hundreds of millions of Americans do something for centuries and suddenly be told that act is illegal? Liberals have been trying to beat down the Christian roots of America for at least the last one hundred years. They have been winning many of their battles in the last sixty years. They are trying to replace the true Christian God with their god of secular humanism. I think the election of President Obama was their peak and we can pray for change, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Capitalism The chicken is not endangered. Yet, humans kill millions of chickens every year. Cows are not endangered. Yet humans kill millions of cows every year. Elephants are endangered, and humans kill very few of them, yet their numbers continue to dwindle. That's because people can't make a living off of elephants. The poor people in Third World countries need to have jobs, incomes, a sustainable way of life. Allowing them to manage their resources so that they can live off the bounty of their nations. Anti-poaching police have arrested dozens of people in an ivory hunting criminal gang. They will now, most likely burn the ivory. Rather than burn the ivory, it should go on the market. Flood the market with ivory and bring the price down. Use the money to set up elephant farms. Give photo safaris and occasional hunting safari's to rich tourists from Asia, the US and Europe. Give the women jobs carving the ivory. Make the exportation of uncarved ivory or ivory that weights more than a couple ounces illegal. Give jobs to people who don't have any. Give hope where there is none and use market forces to save elephants rather than kill them. That's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

December 7, 1941 a date that will live in infamy. September 11, 2001 the date of the World Trade Center attacks. The United States was never attacked because it was too strong. When the US was weak, our enemies took advantage of that weakness and attacked us. Our immigration laws were weak, and poorly enforced so our enemies came here, then overstayed their visas to attack us. We let them in and we let them stay. We need to have an impenetrable barrier for our border. We need to eject those who overstay their visas. Our intelligence services must be strong enough to be able to detect potential threats. They must be able to operate in such a way that they can take action to defend our nation against attack. They must have the confidence of our elected officials, rather than have elected officials threaten to prosecute them. When we capture our enemies they must stay in prison for the duration of the war. The do not deserve, nor should they get, trials in American courts. They are not Americans and should not be given the Constitutional protections afforded to American citizens. We must be strong and prevent the next attack; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Communist Abortions The Communist People's Republic of China continues to force women to have abortions. They try and put on the happy face in the Olympics and by being more open to business development, but underneath it all they are still a Communist dictatorship that does not value the individual. The government wants women to limit themselves to one child. Any woman who fails to limit herself to one child risks a forced abortion. Abortion is not only legal, it is mandatory for many. The godless Communists don't care about the value of the individual human life, they care only about the collective. They have determined that it is better for the collective that women only have one child, no matter what. This oppresses women by causing them to endure a major medical procedure against their will. It also discriminates further against women because Chinese culture values males over females to carry on the family line. That causes many to abandon their female babies, or to kill them. This leads to more males being born than females. Even now male Chinese are finding it hard to find mates because the male / female ratio has been skewed by these forced abortion. Communists, disrupting the natural order of things; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Amendment 28

"Amendment 28: Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States." I did not come up with this idea, but I certainly think it is a good one. Right now private businesses are burdened with loads of regulation that don't apply to the Congress. The Congress exempts themselves from the same laws that they force on us. If they are good laws, then they need to apply to Congress too. If the laws are not good laws, then Congress will be more interested in repealing them. Congress is exempt from laws about hiring discrimination. So if a Congressman wants to have an all male or all female staff, then they legally can do so without facing charges of discrimination. If they want to hire all Blacks, or Christians, or Muslims, they can do that too, without worries of discrimination. If a private company does that, they have broken the law. Congress should not be able to exempt themselves from the laws they make the rest of us obey; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Poor Defense

US treaty inspections to end at Russia missile plant: report The Obama Administration continues to bungle foreign policy. The Bush Administration was ready to deploy a missile defense system in Eastern Europe, including Poland. The Poles have been great Allies. They stood with us against the Nazis in WWII and when they threw off the yoke of Communist they started dominoes that collapsed Communist in Europe. Then they joined us in the fight against radical Islam and terrorism in Iraq. The Poles were ready to stand up against Russia and allow missile defense to be deployed on their territory. The Russians hinted that if the Obama Administration were to drop missile defense, they would sign a treaty to permit continued US inspections of Russian missile production. Now the Obama Administration has dropped missile defense in Poland and has failed to secure continued missile production inspection of Russia as well. They are making mistakes by relying on our competitors and our enemies to live up to agreements that don't have any leverage behind them. We should have continued with missile defense rather than rely on treaties. Treaties are just paper and they make a poor defense against missiles, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Iran And Nuclear Weapons Iran has said they are starting work on ten new nuclear plants. They have told us they they don't want to build nuclear weapons. They have told us they don't have nuclear plants. Then they told us they had a couple nuclear plants. Now they tell us they are building more of those plants they initially did not have at all. How soon before they tell us they are building nuclear weapons after all? The amount of nuclear material they will be able to make can allow them to make dozens of nuclear weapons per year. Will Israel, Italy, Russia, the United States, France be safer with an Iran with nuclear weapons? The West must act now to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. I suspect that when Iran has nuclear weapons they will at first try and blackmail and threaten other nations. If that does not work, I suspect that a few stray weapons will find their way into the hands of terror groups. Then, if that does not get Iran what they want, they will use their own nuclear weapons to get what they want. Iran does not care about how many of their own people will be killed, they proved that in the war against Saddam as long as they achieve their objectives; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

War, It's War The War on Islamic Terror is a war. We are not really fighting it as a war against Islam. We are pretending that Islam does not really have any actual involvement in the war. Those who are Islamic are fighting this war and they get help from other Muslims. The extreme radicals are getting help from moderates. We are not vetting people well enough to keep the radicals from getting information that they should not get. An American Army Major spews radical threats, and we ignore it. Moderate Muslims work for the US government to interrogate our enemies, but they actually help not only us, but the enemy as well. We are not really fighting an all out war, but our enemies are fighting an all out war. Listen to their speeches, read what they write, and watch how they behave. This is happening all over the world. Muslim terrorists attack nearly every day. It is all the same war. We need to treat it as such, and fight for victory; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
