No Blood for Oil, Camrade

There are some islands near the two nations that may have oil offshore. They are both interested in that oil. The world is looking for natural resources. As more of the world industrializes they will be in greater competition for energy and raw materials. The USA has huge resources of coal. We need to work harder to use coal in ways that are clean so that our energy dollars don't have to be sent overseas. The USA also has the ability to make and use nuclear energy. France and Japan both use tremendous amounts of nuclear energy. If it is safe and clean and renewable for those two nations, why won't it work for the US too? I think it should, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
