REV. JESSE JACKSON PREDICTS CHANGE IN U.S. FOREIGN POLICY WITH OBAMA - New York Post I agree with Rev. Jackson, I don't agree with President Elect Obama. I agree that President Obama will take the US foreign policy in a different direction. It's just that it will go the wrong way. Jackson says America has to right the wrongs we have done to other nations, but is vague about what those wrongs were. Should we apologize to France for kicking the Nazis out in World War Two? Should we apologize to Russia for winning the Cold War against the Soviet Union? Should we pay reparations to Iraq for overthrowing a repressive dictator and installing democracy? Perhaps we should allow North Korea to develop nuclear weapons as a sign of our good faith? Why not Iran too, since we will no longer be siding with Israel on every issue. The arrogance of the Bush administration of placing the freedom and liberty and safety of Americans over the right of the Taliban to rule Afghanistan certainly should get a nod from President Obama. After all, many Democrats think it is President Bush's fault we were attacked on 9/11 not the Taliban's fault. Perhaps we could restore the terrorists training camps there and even provide them with military assistance to show our humble lack of arrogance under an Obama Administration; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Smokers prohibited from being foster parents - ParentDish Once again, Liberals are prohibiting people from exercising their legal right to do something. If you smoke in some places they won't let you be foster parents in the UK. Thank goodness you can still go bungee jumping, ride motorcycles, and go mountain climbing and keep poisonous snakes in the house and be foster parents. How about drinking? Can you still consume alcoholic beverages? What about drunk driving, do they allow people to have a couple convictions of drunk driving? Just because alcoholics murder friends and relatives at an alarming rate and drink and drive and kill people in horrible numbers does not mean they could not be good parents. How about people who talk on the cell phone and drive, can they be foster parents? It is a good thing they have so many to choose from they can afford to be so particular. I hope they are not letting fat people be foster parents, the kids would learn poor eating habits from them. Of course, being the UK we don't have to worry about guns, but I hope they don't have knives, drain cleaner, matches, or scissors in the house. Or glass, they better be drinking out of plastic containers. Let's face it the average person is too irresponsible and dangerous to be trusted with children, maybe they should just be put down to avoid the danger. After all, abortion and euthanasia are still legal; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Film Festival Director Forced out Over Prop 8 Support - Political Machine A film festival director has been forced out of his job because of his political and religious beliefs. He was in favor of Proposition 8 which banned gay marriage in California. Perhaps the film festival should post a note on their job applications that "Mormons need not apply." They can use the space normally reserved for "Equal Employment Opportunity Employer." I suppose they should also note at the ticket booth for film festival tickets that Mormons are not welcome to buy tickets and view their movies either. As a traditional Christian I am not pro-Mormon. I believe they are heretics, but I also believe in freedom of religion. I don't think there should be a religious test to get or keep a job in this country. Who will be next? Roman Catholics? Muslims? Members of Black churches? How interesting the gays sue everyone all across the nation when they are discriminated against, but it is okay for them to discriminate against others. I particularly found the comments posted by readers to be very revealing. One said they were not concerned about his beliefs, only his actions. So as long as you just think gay marriage is wrong you are okay, but as soon as you lawfully write a check to a legal political organization, lawfully exercising your right to publicize your views and convince people to vote a certain way, then you are evil and must be expelled from you job. So now even lawful political activity is enough to get you kicked out of your job. Looks rather ominous to me; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Thanks be to God from whom all blessings flow. Today is Thanksgiving and we have the opportunity to give thanks to Almighty God for the many blessings that He has given to us all. We live in a free country, we can keep and bear arms, we can worship the Lord, we can be free from unreasonable searches and seizures. My wife and I went to church this morning because I think it is the best way to start off Thanksgiving Day, by giving thanks. Too often we think everything we have we got on our own. We too easily forget that the hand of God is working for us all the time. Even if you are not religious, people are praying for you. At our church we pray for the President of the United States and for all the members of our Armed Forces. We pray for the President no matter who is in office. Mothers and Grandmothers pray for their children. Friends pray for each other. President Lincoln proclaimed Thanksgiving Day during the American Civil War. He wanted us to be thankful for the blessing that God had given us even during the time of our nations greatest trial. So give thanks to God today, it is a good day for it; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Too much sex hurts Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) - BloggingStocks Apparently main stream America does not like companies that market near kiddie porn to sell clothing. With thousands of teen pregnancies, and abortions, companies like that are part of the problem. Using teenage sex to sell products is reprehensible. They have long had scantily clad models in their advertising and not everyone is amused by that. Children having sex and getting pregnant is not what average Americans want for their kids. Too many musicians, actors, and companies think there is nothing wrong with promoting sex with and among children. Even our child stars are showing off their bras and acting sexy as soon as someone will point a camera at them. I am glad to see that more Americans are voting with their dollars and not buying products from a company that promotes teenage sexuality. During the Great Depression there was little crime and a return to morality in this nation. Perhaps the stock market falling a few thousand points is not so bad after all; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Marine Makes Insurgents Pay the Price A patrol of 30 United States Marines in Afghanistan were ambushed by perhaps as many as 250 enemy forces. After an eight hour engagement, fifty of the enemy were dead, more were wounded and there was not a single American Marine who was seriously injured in the combat! This combat took place in a province where the enemy had been very strong, yet their strength proved to be only an illusion. Our military has the best troops in the world and in a stand up fight we win every time, this is why the enemy will so rarely stand up and fight us anywhere, they know they will be destroyed. For several days AOL news has told us about an actress that I never heard of and how she had a baby and then was taunted in the media for losing her figure, and now we are treated to her heroic triumph by showing off her new body and her improved figure. How wonderful. But not a mention about real hero's and real triumph. That might make George Bush look good to show a victory in Afghanistan, after all, Obama has been anointed to bring peace there. Our main stream media refuses to carry stories that are important to Americans, so many are turning to alternative media. I listen to talk radio and I get most of my news from various web media. It is too bad that with the best communication systems in the world our media can't bring itself to write a story that praises the hero's in our military. These stories happen every day and should be leading the news, every day; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Obama Wants Rescue Plan 'Right Away' Obama promised us Hope and Change. Now he has promised that things will get worse before they get better and that one change will be the loss of millions of jobs. So much for the bully pulpit to encourage the nation. He says that it will cost billions of dollars to get the economy going again. So he is going to bankrupt the coal industry, so that will be billions of dollars of tax revenue we will lose, and thousands more out of work. He is back pedaling now as he realizes that as he approaches the reigns of power, he can't do most of what he promised. We can't insure tens of millions of uninsured people. We can't become energy independent. We can't cut taxes for millions of people, we can't raise taxes only on the few most richest Americans. But we can Hope for Change. Liberals like to embrace style over substance. Clinton sexually harassed his female subordinates time and time again, but he was supportive of women's rights, so it was overlooked as a detail because it was just about sex. President Obama is going to have a very difficult time doing much of the good he claimed he was going to do. If he raises taxes on the rich, he will see tax income decrease. The rich are hiding their assets even now. They are also taking a bath in the stock market, but they are not buying cheap stocks they are selling to get their money now while they still can. If he cuts taxes on the "poor" he will further decrease Federal revenues. If the pays for health insurance, hires 2.5 million people to build infrastructure and energy he will have to borrow the money. With all that borrowing, the economy will continue to slow. I don't think we can hope for any change from President Obama, other than things getting worse. That is one statement from him I can believe in here at the Hysterical Right Wing.

Obama Offers Job Creation Plan President-elect Obama has offered up a job creation plan. He wants 2.5 million new jobs by 2010. They will be building wind power generation towers, and solar panels. They also will be repairing bridges and rebuilding schools and other infrastructure. As always, the devil is in the details. What agency of the Federal Government is in charge of power generation again? The Department of Energy does not produce energy, are we going to expand their mandate and have them actually make some or all of our electricity? What about building bridges, who does that now? For the Interstate Highway system that is the Federal Government, but most roadways and bridges are the responsibility of state and local government. Will Obama have the Federal Government take over all our transportation? How about schools, who builds them now? That would be our local school districts and state governments. With Federal money comes Federal control. I don't want our Federal government controlling our local schools, determining where our roads and bridges will go, and generating our power. Much of power generation is done by privately owned utilities. Is the Federal Government going to run them out of business? And how much will these jobs pay? Who will hire them? How will we get the money for these jobs? Raise taxes? Borrow money? Sounds like a good plan, until you look close; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, an inalienable right to life, not a right to abortion. Conservatives need to read this document now that we are out of power and go back to what we know best, presenting ourselves at the keepers of the American traditional values. The eHarmony Shakedown -- Michelle Malkin -- GOPUSA A gay man has sued eHarmony and a foolish, pro-homosexual activist judge has given the gays a victory in the culture war. eHarmony was founded by traditional family oriented Christians. Naturally, that makes them a target of the radical homosexual factions that want to destroy Western Culture. If I were eHarmony, I would stop doing business in New Jersey, the state where this judgement was handed down, rather than cater to gay clients. I would even stop doing business altogether rather than violate my principles and hook up gay clients with each other. Why is it that people think they have a right to every good and service offered by private companies? If I own a business I should be able to target my market to whoever I want to serve and if gays can't use my service then they can go elsewhere. This it another example of the gays wanting more than just to be left alone. They want full acceptance into every aspect of life just as if they were straight, normal people. They want to force straight people to not merely accept them but to act as if they were perfectly moral, normal, average people, just like everyone else. It is part of the attack on Western Culture and the attack on the Catholic Church. If gays can nibble away at government, private industry, schools and every other institution, then they will try and bring down the churches. Every traditional fundamentalist and Catholic church needs to be aware of this because it is aimed ultimately at them. Who are the most helpless in our society? The unborn. They have no ability to help themselves. The rely upon their mothers to keep them safe, and fed and healthy. They are totally dependant on them. We have a culture of death. We freely kill the most helpless among us. We wear tee shirts with skulls on them. Tennis shoes with cross bonds on them. Little girls wear symbols of death and destruction as tattoos, dresses, and jewelery. Everywhere you look there are skulls, crossbones, skeletons, and other symbols of death. Movies are about vampires and werewolves and other creatures of the undead. In these movies the creatures of the night are the good guys, religion has no place in these movies at all, or if it is used, it is just another superstition or even a fraud or another of many bad guys. It is no wonder that we have rampant abortion, euthanasia of the sick and the elderly, and even people killing themselves live on the Internet. I anticipate with the Obama Administration, they will move us as a nation even closer to death. They will make abortion more accessible and one way to afford their health plan is to kill off the elderly and the infirm. Conservatives must make a greater stand for life, at all stages of life, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

US Hostage Rescued in Daring Operation The US Army rescued a man held hostage by the Taliban in Afghanistan. As usual the main stream media essentially ignores the incident. Anything positive that happens in the War on Islamic Terror is ignored, anything bad happens is published night and day. I am quite certain there will be no TV show, no movie made about these people and their exploits. The Taliban, "freedom fighters" have become just another bunch of terrorist thugs, who oppose freedom. They kidnap people for ransom to get money from the poor. In this case, the man was working to help the Afghan people to rebuild their community and they pay him back by kidnapping him. They also kidnap aid workers because they spread their Christian faith. Islam cannot exist in a free market of ideas. It only exists in totalitarian nations where it is illegal to discuss alternatives. Christan ideals always take over in areas where the Word of Christ can be preached. The best weapon we have in the War On Islamic Terrorism is the Sword of the Lord, the Word of the Christian God.

Chicago TV station bans pro-life ad (OneNewsNow.com) An ABC affiliate has banned a pro-life ad. They claim the ad is inaccurate because they don't think the photos in the ad don't correspond directly to the stated age of the fetus. The people who run the ad stand by their descriptions and photos. I wonder who at the TV station is in charge of checking the accuracy of the commercials and what they know about human fetal development? I wonder how closely the TV station would monitor the content of a pro-abortion advertisement? As usual, the conservative view is censored and there is little or no uproar about it. TV shows rarely show us a conservative view. The TV show The View has three very liberal people and one moderate conservative. That passes for fairness in the minds of liberals. It makes it difficult to change the minds of the public when the very media who are supposed to be informing us of things, only give us one side of each issue. The main stream media is composed primarily of liberals, there is no doubt about that. What most people don't realize is that they are not a solid, unified block. There are those "mainstream" liberals who are mostly Democrats who will always be expected to tow the party line, read the talking points and make Democrat politicians look good and Republicans look bad. There is also a strong showing of liberals who are not necessarily Democrats, but Greens, Communists, Socialists and others who tend towards being anti-establishment. It does not matter to them who is in power, they are "the man" and must be opposed, because they are anti-establishment. These are the members of the media who will be the first to tire of a President Obama who does not immediately remove all American troops from Iraq, stop global warming, give health insurance to everyone and cut all our taxes. Except for the wealthy they expect Obama to stick it to the wealthy. Most presidents get 100 days to set the tone for their term of office and has a sort of honeymoon for that time. The anti-establishment liberals won't wait any longer than that. It will be interesting to see how he is able to keep them happy, or if the press will turn against him pretty quick.

The Daily Dish By Andrew Sullivan (October 27, 2008) - The Top Ten Reasons Conservatives Should Vote For Obama "...big-spending, privacy-busting, debt-ridden, crony-laden, fundamentalist, intolerant, incompetent and arrogant faux conservatism of the Bush-Cheney years, it will never regain a coherent message to actually govern this country again." Obama will be more of a big spender than any of the conservatives who want to eliminate government programs. Don't compare McCain to Obama and claim McCain is a conservative. While McCain is more conservative than Obama, he is not a conservative. People keep telling me that Bush has been invading my privacy, but I can't seem to find anyone who can tell me how he is doing that. Since I don't talk on the phone to terrorist subjects overseas, I am not worried about them listening to my phone calls. As for debt ridden, the Congress, which has been run by Democrats for a while now, handles all the budget bills, so I think we can hold them responsible for much of that indebtedness. As for crony-laden, I don't know if you can get more croney laden than the Clinton administration, particularly since Mrs. Clinton was trying to become president. Hard to be more crony-laden than that. It is the abandonment of fundamentalist principals that has helped lose the conservative base, President Reagen embraced the Christian fundamentalists and did very well with them. Being intolerant is not a bad thing. Tolerance is the last virtue of a decadent society. Given that after 9/11 everyone was certain we would get hit by another giant terrorist attack, and that has not happened with seven years gone by, I think incompetence is not descriptive of the Bush administration. I also have not found the Bush administration to be arrogant. Conservative principles were largely ignored by the McCain people other than the appointment of Sarah Palin. Obama will totally ignore conservative values and will destroy much of what the conservatives have worked for during the last decades. Abortions will increase dramatically, gun rights will be trampled, taxes will increase, more government regulations will be forced on us, and religious rights will be diminished. There was no reason for conservatives to vote for Obama, and there is no reason to look to Obama for much good in the next four year; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

With the stock market down about three thousand points now, I suspect we still have another three thousand to go before we hit bottom. I predict that in the next two years we may see a bottom of just over 5,000 points. With the Obama election he will be hard pressed to be able to pay for all he has promised. We were told he will raise taxes on those who make over $250,000.00 a year, then we were told $150,000.00 a year, and finally we were told $100,000.00 a year. I suspect it will be on those couples who make $100,000.00 a year, and so any single person who makes $50,000.00 a year can probably expect a tax increase. Since so many rich people have hidden their remaining assets and have taken such losses in the stock market, the government will be searching for money to pay for all the new programs that Obama has promised. Tax relief for those low income folks may not be as much of a relief as anticipated and I suspect the government will have to borrow heavily to pay for health care for the 43 million uninsured people in this country. Since health care is now a 'right' Obama can't go back on that promise. With government borrowing going up, there will be an increase in interest rates due to the shortage in the money markets that massive government borrowing will create. Then there will be inflation to pay for that higher interest that businesses and regular folks will have to pay. After that there will be more layoffs to cut costs due to increased taxes and higher interest rates. I anticipate that after two years of an Obama presidency that we will have higher taxes on more than just the top five percent of incomes, higher interest rates than we have today, higher unemployment, and higher inflation. With the Democrats in control of the presidency and Congress they will have to shoulder all the blame if things don't get a lot better, very quickly. If the Republicans can get themselves together, this will be a big opportunity for them to get back many seats in the House when people realize this is not the change they wanted; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Newsmax.com – Catholic Leaders Scold Biden, Pelosi on abortion Roman Catholic leaders are scolding Biden and Pelosi on abortion, yet both of them continue to run for office and claim they are good Roman Catholics. How can you claim to hold a religious belief when you publicly deny the teachings of that faith? Abortion is a sin, helping to get abortions for people is a sin. This is very clear in the Roman Catholic Church. There is no controversy about it. A simple check of the Roman Catholic Catechism will tell you it is a sin. You cannot advocate sin and call yourself a good Roman Catholic. How can people vote for someone who is Roman Catholic, vote for someone that advocates positions that the Church condemns? If you don't believe what the Church states as truth, then why belong to the Church? It is particularly reprehensible when elected leaders say I don't believe in this but I think people have a right to choose. I don't believe in murder, theft, abortion but I think people have a right to choose. Now that the election is over, President Obama will write and repeal executive orders to allow more abortions. Over a million abortions per year is not enough, we need to kill more babies. Women have a right to choose if they want to become pregnant, they don't have a right to chose to murder their babies. President Obama disagrees and thinks that they should. Perhaps all Democrats will follow his lead and have a gay marriage or have abortions, then the problem will be self-correcting in one generation; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Gay Marriages Allowed in Connecticut As usual, what the liberals can't get by democratic means they will take to the shopping the courts and get what they want. In a week where gay marriage is defeated in many states in the nation, courts in Connecticut take it on themselves to usurp the will of the people, avoid the democratic process and impose their version of utopia on the rest of us. There is no end to it, our society continues to decline and gay marriage is a good measure of that decline. The liberals seem intent on forcing it on us no matter how many times we vote against it. In California we voted against gay marriage years ago, and no sooner were the votes counted than they went to the courts to overturn that law. So we voted again to oppose gay marriage and the anti-democratic forces have once again turned to the courts and are taking to the streets to get what they want. The gays can't convince the majority of the public that they should be allowed to have same sex marriage, so they go to the courts to get what they want. They don't respect the will of the majority, they only want what they want without regard to what it will mean to our society. No where else on Earth has this ever been done because it is against God and nature; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

US military deaths in Iraq war at 4,192 - Yahoo! News We have been at war in Iraq for years and we have had fewer than 5,000 soldiers killed. In WWII in a large battle we would have that many killed in a day. In the Battle of the Somme the British had 50,000 causalities per day, yes, that's per day and that battle lasted for six months. Recently I received an email that discussed Obama removing American troops from the Bush Quagmire of Iraq. So far this month we have had three US Army soldiers killed in Iraq. Three. Hardly looks like a quagmire to me. I suspect we have had three US Army soldiers killed in the USA this month. Is Obama going to remove US Army troops from the Quagmire of the USA? I do not write any of this to diminish the lives of our servicemen. Our soldiers are important and each life of an American, particularly those brave soldiers who defend us are precious. But precious also is our freedom and national security. Iraq is not a quagmire, it is a victory. We have nearly won the war there. Liberals want to declare it a quagmire, claim defeat and sneak home. As the Iraqi Army and local police gain experience the need for American help will continue to diminish. It takes years of training and experience for an army and a police force to develop the professionalism to run well on their own. The German Army was not reconstituted until about ten years after the Second World War, and it took years, during peacetime for them to become effective. North Korea Rumors Create Confusion North Korea continues to be a strange and dangerous place. There are rumors that their leader may be sick, even dead. What kind of a nation does not tell it's people when their leader is sick or dead? That says a lot about how paranoid these people are and what methods they will use to keep secrets. If he is fine, why does he not simply appear on live TV or meet with international official and put all these rumors to rest. They have been working towards nuclear weapons off and on for years. They may even have a few nuclear weapons. We cannot allow them to get nuclear weapons and there is no Israel to send aircraft in to destroy them, we would have to do it. The US, South Korea, and China have been propping up North Korea. I think we should allow North Korea to collapse. It will create some international disruption as North Korean citizens flee the country to China and South Korea, but in the long run it would be beneficial to us and the world. The Eastern Block collapsed and the world is a safer and freer place as a result. The people of North Korea suffer terrible hardship under their repressive government, no freedom of speech, no freedom of religion, not even good supplies of food and medicine. I got an email message recently that compared the cellular telephone with the Bible. It was a very insightful document that says much about how we live our lives today. How would our lives be different if we treated our Bible like we treat our cellular phone? We carry it around in our purse or our pocket all the time. We flip through it several times every day. We would return to our home or to work to get it if we left it on our desk. We could get messages from it every day. It is something we really can't seem to live without. How about giving them as gifts to kids? We should take it with us in case of an emergency and every time we travel. The more I read my Bible, the more I realize that the message is true today just as it was two thousand years ago. The people back then were just as foolish, arrogant, greedy and proud as they are today. The message is the same, that God loves us and wants us to live good lives. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." I am writing a letter for a friend of mine so he can get a concealed weapons permit. Which of the other Constitutionally guaranteed rights require a permit granted by the government, a fee and a group of letters stating you should be allowed to exercise that right? Can you imagine if you had to get a permit to go to church or to speak your opinion? Can you imagine if you needed letters from three citizens that would allow you to get an abortion? The other issue is that the local government official will determine if the applicant can get a concealed weapons permit, if they are refused, there is no right to appeal. The applicant must show that they have a good reason to carry a gun. Why should you have to have a reason to exercise a constitutional right? What is your good reason for going to church or what is your good reason for having an abortion? When it comes to search and seizure, the government must provide good reason why they can violate your right to privacy and search your property or seize you and arrest you. Why is a concealed weapons permit any different? In California the law should be changed so that the government must issue a permit unless the government can show good cause why you should not have a concealed weapon; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Are you buying guns? Everyone else is, there is a big wave of firearms purchases as people fear the Democrats will come into office and make all kinds of guns illegal, more expensive, harder to get and require more red tape; if you are a decent, honest citizen. Criminals will continue to obtain firearms illegally, because that is what criminals do, commit crimes. It is too bad that the Democrats don't trust the people so they want to take away their firearms. Firearms accidents are at all time lows and firearms are used by private citizens for self defense millions of times a year. Some places, like Japan have almost no guns and almost no crime. Some places like Switzerland have guns everywhere and almost no crime. The presence or absence of guns has a limited effect on crime. A uniform, law abiding population who believes in conforming to the norms of society is what causes low crime rates. We don't have that here. Much of our population is not law abiding, and thinks that conformity is just plain wrong. They take drugs and often commit crimes to support their drug habits. They live criminal lifestyles and when they get sent to prison they look on that as a vacation. When they are released, they continue with their gangster life. The rest of us have to have guns to defend ourselves. I find it hard to believe that George Washington would have formed a citizen army to defeat the British and then endorse a Constitution that disarmed those same citizens, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

How amusing it is to see the left is already rallying around President Elect Obama. The stock market has plunged about 800 points since his election and rather than blame any of that on him, they cite fears of a recession. Chris Matthews of Hardball cable TV show says he will work hard to see that this president will succeed. I don't recall he worked hard to make sure President Bush was successful. So much for the Independence of the press corps. Obama will be the president and we must pray that he will govern with wisdom, and will lead our nation to prosperity and morality. I suspect, however, he will do neither. His rabid zeal for abortion rights and gay rights indicate his morality is very suspect. His promises to give away the farm mean it will be difficult to have enough money to do all he wants done. I suspect that many rich people are exiting the stock market to avoid capital gains taxes and income taxes. If you know those are going up, then you need to hid your assets. Sell a million dollars worth of stock and buy a million dollar necklace. Can't tax jewelery sitting in a drawer. Sell your physical plant and move your business out of the country. Hard to tax a company that is not in your country. Sell real estate and retire early. No point in working hard just to give the money to the government, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Conservatives win elections when they act as conservatives, not vaguely center right politicians. John McCain was a "maverick" that was well liked by the media. Well liked by the main stream media when he was poking his finger in the eye of the conservative members of his party. When he ran for president he needed to court the right wing of the Republican party and the media suddenly abandoned him for the ultra left Obama. Ronald Reagan was popular because not only did he hold conservative values, he did not change them to do better in a poll. He held firm to what he believed and then when he was elected he made reasonable efforts to get his program enacted. He was tough on our enemies and did what was needed to win the Cold War. Not just talk with our enemies or make useless agreements, but actually cause the Soviet Union to collapse. "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" Not, "Mr. Gorbachev, we need to talk about this wall, without pre-conditions." Ronald Reagan also knew how to use the media. Any new candidates need to use the media and particularly new media. One of the ways to avoid the main stream media is to use YouTube, talk radio, and other Internet options. John McCain said he did not know how to use email. How outside the mainstream of America is that? Everyone under 25 never stops using new media, chatting on cell phones while they text someone else. We need to pick real conservatives, who can use the media and get our message directly to the people; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

The election is lost and now we conservatives must steel ourselves against at least four years with a Democrat as President of the United States. While it is easy to blame the mainstream media for our defeat, they are only a small part of the equation. The biggest problem is the Republican Party has put up poor candidates for President in the last several elections. Too often the nominee has been a static old guy who while a great patriots and often right on the issues, they are boring, and unable to connect with most of the electorate, as well as not able to energize the Republican base. Ronald Reagan was the last Republican to energize the right wing base of the Republican Party. If you want to win as a Republican, you must be able to electrify the base or you will lose the election or at best just scrape by. The base is too often taken for granted, as if we have no one else to vote for so the Party can pick anyone, knowing we will vote for them. But that assumption is wrong on several levels. Some members of the base will jump ship and vote for other conservative parties, Alan Keyes ran for President this time and is a very attractive candidate to the base. The base is needed to note only vote for the nominee, but they are needed to work for the candidate. They are the ones who give money, will get out the vote, bring their friends and relatives that otherwise may not vote Republican. Running a center right candidate to get people from the center and left does not work because the right wing core won't be there; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

It is almost four p.m. and naturally we don't know who will win the election, but it is too bad the main stream media are already calling the election for Obama based on exit polling. Why can't we wait until tomorrow morning until there are actual results? It seems that far to much of the media spend all their time telling us made up news. Not real news, just news they made up. It is much easier to stand outside a polling place for twenty minutes and get a couple sound bites and then say "This candidate has won." Polls are not real news. It is much better to go to Iraq and talk to soldiers and civilians and Iraqi government officials and find out what is happening, than to sit in their office and conduct a poll asking people about the war. It is lazy journalism to do polls rather than report what is actually happening. What did we do 100 years ago when we had to wait for days before we could find out the results of an election? How about 200 years ago when we had to wait months before we could get results. Election results should show us real results from real votes, not constant poll results; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Tomorrow is the election in the USA. I am voting for McCain and Palin. There are several key issues that cause me to give them my vote. The right to life is the most important of our rights. If we are never born, then energy policy or taxes don't matter. All innocent people have a right to life and I think that abortion is murder. The Roman Catholic Church says that people who don't support the right to life, don't deserve our vote and I agree with them. The right to keep and bear arms is the right that protects all the other rights. When the criminal is kicking down your door, you can't call 911 and wait 20 minutes for the police to arrive. The people are sovereign in the United States, not the government, not a king. As the sovereign we deserve the right of self defense, defense of our families and defense of our communities. Without the right to keep and bare arms we don't have the ability to do that. The American Revolution was started as a result of those British soldiers who marched on Lexington / Concord to take away the citizens weapons. Finally, the War on Islamic Terror must be won. We are fighting in Iraq and we are winning the war. Americans have spent fifty years in Korea, longer in Germany, and I think we need to stay in Iraq until the danger to their freedom is over. We no longer have to worry about Japan and Germany because we conquered them and made their nations into functioning democracies. We owe it to ourselves to insure this happens in Iraq so we don't have to go back again in a few years. We made a mistake by not finishing the war the first time, we certainly don't want to have to go back again in ten years; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

Cloning without consent (OneNewsNow.com) I am opposed to experimenting with innocent humans. And I think that life begins at conception. That is when the unique DNA combination happens. Only development occurs after that, it does not become something new, it only grows from that point on. Now evil scientists are considering cloning humans. Not only cloning humans, but cloning them without consent, and the government is making it all nice and legal. The English Parliament has passed a law to allow certain human cloning without the consent of the donor. If we own anything in this world it should be our own bodies. By permitting cloning of people without their consent they are robbing us of our human individuality and our uniqueness. How many thousands of people will have their genetic identity stolen by these evil men? The Hippocratic Oath includes the words "first, do no harm." It seems our medical practitioners forgot that long ago. Apparently it is medically appropriate to murder babies, murder old people, murder the sick, and now clone human cells without consent of the donor. The medical community has taken on the role of gods to end life and create life, without oversight and without permission, but all legal. This is all part of a very disturbing trend, and it must be stopped; that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.

There is a joke email going around about the government should not take Easter and Christmas off since they are Christian holidays. It says that since Sunday is a Christian day of worship we should continue to get mail, since God has generally been taken out of public life. The joke is we can then force our public officials to work more days of the week and take fewer holidays because they won't let us pray in public schools or post the Ten Commandments. Be careful what you wish for. It was not too long ago that gay marriage was unthinkable. The evil ones who run our nation into the ground will come up with reasons why they need the time off they will just call it something other than Christmas and Easter. Remember we used to have a holiday for Lincoln and Washington. Now we have Presidents day were Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton are equal to Washington and Lincoln. We used to have Columbus Day, but we have Martin Luther King Day now instead. What will happen in a few years when some of the states have a plurality of Muslim voters? Will they start taking away Sunday as a day of rest? Will we lose Christmas as a holiday? Muslims and atheists working together to destroy Christian religious practice; it could happen, that's the view from the Hysterical Right Wing.
